Levy & The Oaks are sharing with the ComicPop listeners their first single “Slowly in the Water” from their self-titled album. “Slowly in the Water” has a sound that reminds me of something out of the gulf coast area with the river and swamps. I think I get that because the single has a folk/rock feel but the guitar has an ominous sound through out the song to give it a little bit of an otherworldly feel. I enjoy the sound that Levy & The Oaks have produced with this single and look forward to hearing more from their upcoming album.
