Nancy Collins has inked a deal to write the Vampirella series from Dynamite Entertainment. For those not sure of who Nancy Collins is her series Sunglasses After Dark featuring the Sonja Blue character will probably sound familiar. Nancy over in a post on ICv2 says she wants to bring Vampirella back to her horror roots and make it a darker story. For me I hope this happens, because at times writers forget about the horror background and make it more of an adventure story.
