ICv2′s site is reporting that D.J. Caruso has been signed to direct a Preacher movie. The director is fine, my concern is Hollywood trying to make this into a movie. Unless this becomes a franchise I would think this would be better served as a HBO series or the like. AMC’s Walking Dead comes to mind as how this can be produced. Link below to the brief article.
