Just saw this on Yahoo with the link to Popular Machanics of the unveiling of the U.S.S. Enterprise at the Smithsonian. This is the 11 foot model that the series used during filming the original series of Star Trek. It looks great! Maybe some day I might even get to D.C. to see it in person.
