AnimeNews Network has reported that Director Toyoo Ashido passed away this last Saturday, July 23, at the age of 67. Some of his many contributions were the Fist of the North Star series, Kuso Kagaku Sekai Gulliver Boy, and the Vampire Hunter D video game.
