Chloe Bodur’s New Single “Glory”

Chloe Bodur is sharing with our listeners her single “Glory”.  Chloe has a nice alto sound which glides through this Jazz/Soul infused single.  “Glory” starts out with instrumentals until the 30 second mark and then Chloe comes in with the vocals.  Within the instrumentals an electric guitar is used to give this single a little of an electronic sound, but once the vocals hit you know your in for a smooth ride.  Check out Chloe Budor’s single “Glory” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Premiering The Captain’s Son’s Latest Single “Aloha Love”

The listeners of ComicPop Library get an after Christmas present from The Captain’s Son, with the premiere for their single “Aloha Love”!

The group has been hard at work this holiday season putting on the finishing touches of their newest single and our listeners to get the first chance to enjoy it.  Now that “Aloha Love” has been lovingly crafted it is ready to be received by the world.

With The Captain’s Son I get to enjoy several sounds that has influenced them and this one is no different.  “Aloha Love” takes us back in the day again, which I love, and as the single’s title suggests the band pays homage to the Jan & Dean/Beach Boys sound.  One of my first concerts as a teenager that my parents took me to, and this was back in the mid to late 1980’s I’m not quite that old yet, was to a Beach Boys concert.  The Captain’s Son, with their heavy guitar strumming, took me back to that concert experience and when I fell in love with the Beach Sound.

I really enjoy The Captain’s Son and can’t wait to hear what they will gift us with next.  Until then enjoy this late Christmas present, “Aloha Love”, through The Captain’s Son’s SoundCloud page – Richard:

Eli Lev & The Fortunes Found “Go Down” Single

This is an interesting piece that Eli Lev & The Fortunes Found is sharing with our listeners.  It’s foundation is in the folk genre, but I believe it borrows from the R&B sound and a little electronica mixed in to give’s “Go Down” a fun sound.  When I listen to “Go Down” I’m immediately transported to the Bayou.  Eli Lev & The Fortunes Found’s album All Roads East is forthcoming and they wanted our listeners to enjoy their new single “Go Down” before it hits.  So here’s “Go Down” from Eli Lev & The Fortunes Found SoundCloud page – Richard:

Eleanor Tallie’s Single “Promised Land”

Eleanor Tallie is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her single “Promised Land”.  Eleanor as a nice clear voice that has a smooth quality.  Her voice is very easy to listen to and she uses that smoothness to her advantage with a R&B style sound.  Eleanor calls her style “Neo-Funk”, a mixture of funk, neo-soul, R&B, jam, jazz, and hip-hop.  Interested to see where she goes from here.  Until then here’s Eleanor Tallie’s “Promised Land” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Starbenders’ Latest Single “Julian”

Starbenders’ is wanting everyone to enjoy their latest single “Julian”.  This is glam rock at it’s finest.  This was a fun listen.  The music gets into you and for some reason, at least for me, I couldn’t help but bob my head and have a grin on my face.  The vocals aren’t lost in the instruments and everything just fits together perfectly on this single.  Can’t wait to check out more of their music.  So get into Starbenders’ fun single “Julian through SoundCloud – Richard:

The Dot and The Line’s Single “Wait For You”

The Dot And The Line is sharing with our listeners then Synth single “Wait For You”.  With the beat that the duo have given this single it has a little bit of edge and darkness to it.  But the lyrics are one that most want to hear from the one the love…that “I’ll wait for you”.  The lead vocals are done in a what I would call a feathery aspect that softens the bass beat with a nice contrasting sound.  Check out The Dot And The Line’s “Wait For You” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Sterling Rhyne’s Debut Single “Remedy”

Sterling Rhyne is hitting the streets of New York with this Jazzy debut single “Remedy”.  Some people on think of Jazz as being an instrumental genre, but Sterling is reminding everyone that vocals are a key part of the genre as well.  This piece has an upbeat, fun feel to it so all our listeners check out Sterling Rhyne’s single “Remedy” through SoundCould – Richard:

Conventioner’s Single “Never Breaking”

Conventioner is a musician based out of Florida that is working on his Sophomore EP after his Legacy EP.  He is giving ComicPop listeners a chance to sample his music with “Never Breaking”, one of his newer releases.  The single is a synth ballad that flows over the listener.  Not what you normally think of with synth and the dance floor, but for a change of pace to slow it down a bit it still works.  Because you know every once in a while you need to slow it down on the dance floor.  Check out Conventioner’s single “Never Breaking” through SoundCloud – Richard:
