Peter Kasen is sharing with us his single “Co-Pilot”. This has an Americana/Folk sound that I hear in the stylings he has crafted for this single. Hagar Levy is sharing with us her single “Hectic” from her forthcoming album. “Hectic” begins right off with a strong base beat and sets the tone for the single with a solid R&B sound. That same base beat gives the single a sense of urgency that builds to the release in the chorus. Hagar has a nice clear voice that comes through nicely. The only time it gets a little overtaken by the instrumentals is during the chorus, but with this song I believe that might be intentional because she wants that Hectic sound with the instruments during the chorus to be the spotlight. We featured Heny Chadwick back in April with his single “Alright”. Now he wants to share with the ComicPop listeners again. This time we are featuring his music video for his single “Overtime” that he would like everyone to enjoy from his Guest at Home EP. Henry still has that laid back feel to his music with this single, which is conveyed in the music video perfectly again. Indigoe is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Call in the Air”. “Call in the Air” is definitely a Electric/Pop single. You can tell that the instrumentals are the feature especially with the intro for the single.. Indigoe is planning on having different feature artists as the vocalist on their new releases and for this single the featured artist is Todd Hugenour. The style is has a very SciFi feel to it and the artwork above just adds to the vibe. A great intro for me to Indigoe and I can’t wait to hear what else they come out with. Jason Achilles Mezilis has just released his rock instrumental album Comedown this past June 28th. Jason has been kind enough to share his music video for the single “Panhandle” from that album. Jason is in a world that most people don’t see to often, that being in the world of instrumentalist. If you are like me and you listen to music for the rhythm and beat of a song more than likely you will enjoy instrumental pieces like soundtracks and Jason’s Comedown album, you just don’t realize. “Panhandle” has a bit of a modern western flare to it and the music video carries that flavor over into it as well. The music itself isn’t overbearing and really enjoyable. Definitely interested to hear more from the album. Sun of Sound are sharing with the ComicPop listeners their new single “Home”. This single is a fun infusion of Rock and Hip Hop. Sun of Sound really has a nice mixture here of the two styles. The single has definitely got my interest up on hearing what will be on the full album. “Home” is from the groups upcoming album Good Days to be released later this Summer. Typhoid Rosie is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Till We Meet Again”, from their album, Hearts Bleed Goodbye which is available to download. This is just a solid rock piece that has a solid beat and strong vocals. This single is a tribute to Rosie’s mother, but even though it is a somber subject I believe you will be able to get into and enjoy “Till We Meet Again”. The single “Talk’ from The Manimals starts out slow and makes you think you are going to get a ballad, but then the band kicks it in high gear and shifts to an almost Punk Rock beat. During the middle of the song the rhythm slows again for dramatic effect and then kicks it again. The music video that The Manimals’ are sharing with ComicPop listeners is what I would call an off the grid dance/party themed video.
