Antigone Rising is a “Game Changer”

cyberpr1antigone

In the tradition of The Go-Go’s and The Bangles comes Antigone Rising, with their single “Game Changer”.  I love it…it’s an upbeat song that I always enjoy.  Antigone Rising has that rock feel, but listening to “Game Changer” I definitely hear a country sound in this single as well.  This would be a great cross-over song for them.  Check out Antigone Rising’s music video of “Game Changer” that they are sharing with us through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Wll-Known Strangers Shouldn’t be Strangers to You

cyberpr1wellknown1

Well-Known Strangers will be one to consider for you playlist.  With “Another Sun”, the group gives listeners a light rock/pop sound.  I loved the rhythms and Betsy Ade’s Alto voice comes through nice and clear conveying the lyrics of the single really well.  They have just released Found that “Another Sun” is on so grab it up and don’t let them be strangers to you.  Enjoy the music video of “Another Sun” that the group is sharing with us from their YouTube channel – Richard

Friday on Elm Street’s Lyric Video for “Dear Beth”

cyberpr1friday

With the name Friday on Elm Street I expected a hard rock dark feel to this music.  What we get with “Dear Beth” is a light pop rock single.  Once I wrapped my heard of preconceived notions to what the band style is, I enjoyed the single.  It is a synth heavy single and the lyrics are clear and everything has a catchy rhythm to “Dear Beth”.  I don’t know it the style is through the rest of Friday on Elm Street’s music, but with this single my mind kept going back to what the Scooby-Doo cartoons would play within their episodes, just fun lighthearted music.  Check out Friday on Elm Street’s lyric video for “Dear Beth” on their YouTube channel and pick up his album that drops on the 12th of this month – Richard:

“Where Memories Live” Music Video

cyberpr1light out there

Light Out There delivers to music fans the single “Where Memories Live”.  This single is a very clean and simple song which is reminiscent of country music from the 1980’s and 1990’s.  The video adds to the lyrics that convey a life message.  This song isn’t about getting up and dancing, but what many in our world are experiencing with loved ones, dementia.  The general audience will appreciate the single but those that have or are experiencing dementia with loved ones, it will resonate even more.  A had subject to express, but Light Out There does an admiral job.  Check out “Where Memories Live” through Light Out There’s YouTube channel – Richard:

You “Can’t Say No” to Rebel House Radio’s Release

cyberpr1rebel

Rebel House Radio has a soft spoken sound.  Not knowing what they have done with other singles, I know with their latest “Can’t Say No” the band is aware of this trait.  The beat has a great steady driving sound with the other instruments being more of a supportive role.  However, they don’t let this over power the lyrics.  Rebel House Radio has adjusted their sound level to compliment their voices rather than take over the song.  The music video also compliments the single as well.  So check out the single “Can’t Say No” from Rebel House Radio’s YouTube channel – Richard:

Foam Ropes Releases “Potion me Well” Single

cyberpr1foamropes

Derek Nicoletto and his band Foam Ropes’ recent single “Potion me Well” has a Southern Rock feel to it.  So when one listens to it you get that back home country rock feel which has a strong beat to it.  The music video that the band did for the single kind of goes in a very different direction though.  It has apartment and dance studio scenes to it which felt a little disconnected to the style of the music.  This is one that should have been filmed on a farm or range and it would have meshed with the single better.  To me the Southern Rock fans will love “Potion me Well”, so download the song and jam out to it.  You can check out the music video here from the bands YouTube channel – Richard:

Zoya’s Music Video for “What’s Done is Done”

cyberpr1zoya

This is my first listening to one of Zoya’s singles, with “What’s Done is Done”.  Zoya is bring us an influence from her culture in this single.  The flute at the beginning and throughout the song gives it a haunting feeling.  Of course I really get into the song once the drums are introduced, but that is just me.  The way Zoya sings has a Jazzy feel to it and I can see her really going into that area or mixing her culture with Jazz to bring a new sound to the table.  I’m eager to listen to her other recordings to see how see progress.  Check out “What’s Done is Done” through her YouTube channel – Richard:

STASH has fun with “Strip Me Bare”

cyberpr1STASH

STASH hits the scene with their elctropop dance single “Strip Me Bare”.  With this single Amanda Maze brings the listener in with her pop sound and then Steph Prost hits you with her rapping.  This is a very nice blend that we have seen others do with the pop and rap mixture and it fits this single well.  The music and video that goes with it gives you a 1990’s dance club feel.  Very energizing and I can’t wait to hear what else they have.  Check out STASH’s music video for “Strip Me Bare” through their Vevo YouTube channel – Richard:

“Lemonade City” Freshly Squeezed by Meresha

cyberpr1meresha

Thanks to Brooke of CyberPR for sending us another artist to look at.  This time it is Meresha with her EP New Revolution.  We get to hear “Lemonade City”.  Meresha has a lower sultry voice that places her sound within the R&B genre.  However, in “Lemonade City’ you can hear elements of the Pop genre as well.  Take a listen to Meresha through the YouTube channel “Various Artists” and see what you think of “Lemonade City” – Richard
