Taylor Casey has that folk song quality to his music. That quality comes through loud and clear in his single “The Kindness of Others”. The folk genre is one of those in between genres that will appeal to rock listeners as well as country listeners. I really enjoyed “The Kindness of Others” and can’t wait to hear his other offerings. Zoya’s Music Video for “What’s Done is Done”
This is my first listening to one of Zoya’s singles, with “What’s Done is Done”. Zoya is bring us an influence from her culture in this single. The flute at the beginning and throughout the song gives it a haunting feeling. Of course I really get into the song once the drums are introduced, but that is just me. The way Zoya sings has a Jazzy feel to it and I can see her really going into that area or mixing her culture with Jazz to bring a new sound to the table. I’m eager to listen to her other recordings to see how see progress. Check out “What’s Done is Done” through her YouTube channel – Richard:
Miraculous Ladybug is Coming to Nickelodeon
AnimeNews Network had a report this last week that Zag Entertainment founder, Jeremy Zag, is bringing Miraculous Ladybug, to the U.S., through Nickelodeon. The Toei Animation series is set to debut this fall on the channel, so all you parents that have young kids this might be a fun series to introduce your young superheroes to. Animation looks good and the theme song is already stuck in my head, and not in a bad way….I actually enjoy it. Check out the trailer, which has the song in it, through Miraculeuse Coccinelle’s YouTube channel:

We are By Nick de la Hoyde’s Side with his Latest Single
Do you want to be by Nick’s side to? You can, take a listen to his latest single “By My Side”. This one has a mixture of pop and rap. I like it. The pop sound hits everyone’s One Direction button and then he comes in with the rap which flows really well. Nick de la Hoyde should appeal to a wide audience do take a listen to “By My Side” through SoundCloud – Richard (didn’t have the ebedded link so you will need to click through to listen to the single): https://soundcloud.com/nickdelahoyde/by-my-side

“Coming Attractions” from Nodaway
This is my first exposure to Nodaway and if “Coming Attractions” is literally what is coming ahead by Nodaway this will be fun. Nodaway is Chris Jobe, who has a nice clean voice and with “Coming Attractions” I love the bass beat. Take a closer look at his name Nodaway. I wonder if this is a play on words and what he wants his listeners to do, Nod away with your head. Check out “Coming Attractions” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Meet the New Spider-Man
Meet Tom Holland or should be say Peter Parker. Sony and Marvel (Disney) has somehow worked out an agreement to allow Spider-Man to become part of the Marvel Films. In doing so Sony has recast Peter Parker/Spider-Man with Tom Holland. Holland will first appear in the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: Civil War and then have his own stand alone film. Hopefully this will work out and Marvel can talk to other companies to get other characters back into the Marvel film universe.
