The Hitman’s Bodyguard Trailer

Logan and I saw this trailer the other day and couldn’t stop laughing.  This looks to be a fun movie.  Check out The Hitman’s Bodyguard trailer through MovieClips Trailers YouTube channel:

Jerome Bell’s Single “Burn Easy”

Jerome Bell is wanting our listeners to “Burn Easy” with his latest single.  From the very first notes you know this single has an island influence.  Jerome has this smooth low range that flows over the listener.  With the island music and its timbre it is fun blending you voice with the  instruments and not be over taken by the instruments.  Jerome goes right to that edge with this piece, but doesn’t cross it.  You can still distinguish the lyrics as the chorus is playing, but it is something that any artist like Jerome has to watch out for with their lower voice range.  “Burn Easy” itself is one to take with you that can be used to set a mood, were the couple described in the song are taking it slow so neither one of them gets burned.  Many can relate to this and even though a summer fling might be fun, taking it slow might be more fulfilling in the long run.  Here’s Jerome Bell’s “Burn Easy” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Ep 33 ComicPop…corn Movies Midnight Showing of “Big Trouble in Little China”

“This is Jack Burton in the ‘Pork Chop Express’ and I’m talking to whoever’s listening out there.  It’s a pretty amazing planet we live on here.  And a man’d have to be some kind of fool to think we’re all alone in this universe.”  And with that the ComicPop Crew get taken on a fantastical fun filled adventure in John Carpenter’s Cult Classic Big Trouble In Little China.

Cover Reveal for Lauren Lynne’s “The Recalcitrant Project”

Lauren Lynne, through Wyvern’s Peak Publishing, has revealed her cover for her upcoming novel The Recalcitrant Project.  Very cool cover it works for me.  As you can see the book will be dropping later this month, but we have an extra bonus for our listeners.  Lauren was kind enough to do a pre-pub visit with us about The Recalcitrant Project and it will be up the week before the actual release of the novel.  So keep an eye on your feeds, that podcast will be released on May 19.  Thanks to Lauren Lynne and Wyvern’s Peak Publishing for allowing us to be a part of the release and remember to order your copy as soon as it available – Richard

Lovely.The.Band’s Lyric Video for “Broken”

With “Broken” Lovely.The.Band is letting everyone know they are here.  They are sharing with us their Lyric Video for “Broken” which feels like a music video and if you take out the lyrics from the screen it is a music video, because most lyric videos key on the lyrics, but with this one it gives you movement behind it.  The single “Broken” is a nice clean pop single that, if I remember right, is similar to One Republic’s style on “All the Right Moves”.  Very catchy rhythm and clear vocals make this one fun to listen to.  So know it’s your turn to take a listen to Lovely.The.Band’s lyric video for “Broken” – Richard:

AMV-Groovy Love

Another fun AMV for all of our AMV lovers.  This one is from AMV-Groovy Love – Bestamvsofalltime Anime MV.  The video was edited back in 2012 by SagexAMV with the song “Drive By” performed by Train and the anime Mayo Chiki, which is basically a harem anime.  It’s a fun AMV, but it does have some risque moments throughout, so you have been warned.  Have some fun with AMV-Groovy Love:
