Gatchaman Trailer

As part of Tatsunoko Production’s 55th Anniversary this year they produced an Inini-T Force anime series and film, part of the Gatchaman franchise.  AnimeNews Network has reported that Viz Media has picked up the distribution rights for both so hopefully we’ll see them here in the North American market.  The trailer below is for Inini-T Force the Movie: Farewell Gatchaman My FriendGatchaman was my first true dive into anime so I for one am definitely looking forward to this release.  Here’s the trailer from Tatsuoko’s YouTube channel:

Presley Tennant’s Christmas Single “Santa Tell Me” Cover

I know it is after Christmas, but this came in from Presley Tennant and I wanted to feature it.  This fits in with our last post for our Christmas podcast discussing the manga, Sweet Rein.  Presley covers Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me” to share the Christmas joy with everyone.  Presley gives our listeners a great rendition of this single with a pure voice that shines through.  The music video has a young feel to it that makes it fun to watch.  It’s going to be exciting to see what other presents Presley will give listeners this next year.  So take a moment after your holiday season to remember the weekend with Presley Tennant’s music video, where she covers “Santa Tell Me”, from her YouTube channel – Richard:

Presley Tennant’s “BFF” Music Video

Presley Tennant is sharing with our listeners her new single and music video “BFF” that features Well Written.  I love the spin Presley has put on the “BFF” meaning, because we’ve all had them, and to know what I mean you will have to watch and listen to her music video.  Anyway “BFF” lands squarely in the pop genre.  Presley is full of energy in her singing that is shown in this single with its upbeat fast tempo.  But she didn’t stop there.  In her music video she delivers a ton of energy as well, which captures the viewer to watch it.  I love upbeat tempo in my music and this one hits it perfectly for me.  Yes, the single is a little snarky, but that’s part of the appeal.  Have some fun by checking out Presley Tennant’s “BFF” music video from her YouTube channel – Richard:

Star Trek Comics From IDW

Remember that IDW Publishing has had the Star Trek license for some time now.  So for all the SciFi and Star Trek fans out there and any libraries that might not have had them in their collection, be sure to look for IDW’s many collected editions of their Star Trek comic book lines.  Here’s a glimpse of what they currently have going on from their YouTube channel:

Ferdinand Trailer

Logan saw this just the other day and said he really enjoyed it.  So if you want something different to see other than Star Wars, he thinks you will enjoy Ferdinand…especially our animation listeners.  MovieClips Trailers channel provides the trailer for us:

Very excited about this weekend.  We might not see it at midnight or even Friday night, but we’ll get to the theater this weekend to definitely see this.  Hope everyone enjoys Star Wars: The Last Jedi!  For something a little different here’s an international trailer provide by MovieClips Trailers YouTube channel:

Rampage Trailer

Dwayne Johnson is one of those actors that I just enjoy watching.  He can be intense yet funny, which I believe is why he has so many fans.  With his turn in Rampage it looks to be another fun adventure ride this coming April.  Thanks to Movieclips Trailers channel for the following trailer:

Matt LeGrand’s Single “What Christmas Means to Me” Cover

Matt LeGrand give us an upbeat Christmas song for the season.  Matt has taken Stevie Wonder’s “What Christmas Means To Me” to cover and share with us.  This is just a fun single that gets one in the mood for the holidays.  With the pop feel the single is light and infectious and is a great way to enjoy the season.  You can’t beat a feel good song and Matt delivers with this single.  So take a moment and enjoy Matt LeGrand’s music video for his cover of Stevie Wonder’s “What Christmas Means To Me” through his YouTube channel – Richard:

Leilani Wolfgramm’s Single “Live Wire”

Leilani Wolfgramm is sharing with our listeners her single “Live Wire”.  Leilani has a nice full alto voice that flows through the single.  The single’s style is definitely reggae, but with Leilani’s soulful voice you see the R&B sneaking through.  Leilani has an EP coming out in January and I’m interested to see where her musically choices go.  Will she gives us both reggae and R&B singles or stick more to one genre?  Whatever she chooses she has the voice to do either one.  Until January Leilani Wolfgramm wants everyone to check out her single “Live Wire” through her YouTube channel – Richard:

“Crying Wolf” A Star Trek Fan Film Production

Vance Major has been a busy person this last year with all the fan films he has been creating.  In his latest release entitled Crying Wolf, Vance utilizes the guidelines set forth by CBS to create a solo experience with Captain Minard. Minard must take in a betrayal and the consequences that it has lead to with the U.S.S. Constar.  A very nice piece of introspective work and one can only wonder – where will everything go from here?  Check it out below and be sure to check out his other fan films on his YouTube channel:
