We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Two Superman legacy actors have reportedly joined the cast of the planned Supergirl television series. They are Helen Slater (past Supergirl) and Dean Cain (past Superman). What their roles may be is still under wraps, but it is fun to see this happen.
I know the pic above says Flash vs. Arrow, but I’m an Green Arrow fan, so for me he will always get top billing. Anyway, this looks like a great two part crossover. Check out the promo below from the “Television Promos” YouTube channel:

Warner Bros. finally gives us a Science Fiction Space Opera that is original and not based off anything that I can tell. The story looks decent and the special effects in the trailer look good. Hopefully that will lead to a good SciFi Flic. It is slated to come out this coming February 2015. Check out the trailer from Warner Bros. YouTube channel:
Here is a science fiction thriller brought to us by way of Japan. Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s novel All You Need is Kill is what Edge of Tomorrow is adapted from, All You Need is Kill is also a manga. It’s basically a futuristic Ground Hog Day with a lot more military action….I can dig that.

FOX’s YouTube channel has officially released the trailer for the upcoming television series Gotham. It looks decent, but I’m kind of on the fence with this one. I’ll have to watch some episodes to see if I can get into the show. Anyway check out the trailer below:
Batman’s 75th Anniversary is this year. On July 23rd, 2014 (Batman Day) will be the day he is officially recognized as 75. However, you could decorate for the month in a Batman theme within your library. Just another chance to connect with your patrons with a program. Give it some thought it could be fun. The Rurouni Kenshin live action movie was successful enough to garner a sequel. No information on a working title or release date. However, the movies YouTube site has put up a teaser for everyone to watch:
Edge of Tomorrow is the next Tom Cruise Science Fiction movie, by Warner Bros., and is scheduled for a June 6, 2014 release date. It is based on the novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. The novel revolves around the story of a battle armored soldier that dies and is re-incarnating over and over again. Check out the trailer from “Warner Bros. Pictures” channel on YouTube:
