Brandyn Burnette is sharing with the ComicPop listeners his music video to his single, “I Wanna Be (Free)”. The single brings in a good bass beat and then moves into an electronic sound. Even Brandyn’s voice is put through the sound board to give in an electronic tone. Check out “I Wanna Be (Free)” through Brandyn Burnnette’s Vevo YouTube channel – Richard:
RESH’s Music Video for “Boys Cry More”
RESH is sharing with us their music video for their single “Boys Cry More”. The beginning and end have a spoken portion to the single and roughly around 50 seconds in the music aspect of the single kicks in. The feel of this single is straight out of a dance club and RESH is very reminiscent in their music video to what Michael Jackson would do in his with the dance moves. “Give Me Your Eyes” Music Video by Ionie
Ionie get sensual with her latest “Give Me Your Eyes”. The music video is no less sensual with it’s scenes, but it also has that reference of people needing to show their love and desire to their significant other. Ionie’s voice lends itself well to this type of music with a very soulful sound. Ionie is sharing with us her music video for “Give Me Your Eyes” through VydiaPop Vevo’s YouTube channel so check it out – Richard:
Bleona wants to “Take You Over”
Bleona’s is sharing with us her music video for her single “Take You Over”. Her first album will be hitting in the early part of 2016 and will be entitled I Am Bleona. I can see this single being played in the night clubs with ease. It has a little bit of a techno feel and you can feel a European influence sneak through as well. Check out the music video that Bleona is sharing with us through her Bleonavevo YouTube channel – Richard:
Victoria Celestine gives us “Something More”
Victoria Celestine’s single “Something More” has an infectious electronic/pop beat that gets your head to bobbing. Victoria’s voice is nice and clear and easy on the ears. With “Something More” the song and music video have that 1980’s feel to them. A fun song to listen to…check it out through Victoria’s VEVO YouTube Channel – Richard:
My Darling Fury’s “Over, Under” Single
‘Over, Under’ is definitely mood music. I really enjoy the soothing roll of the instrumentals and was surprisingly happy with the singer’s voice. I usually don’t find a higher man’s voice very nice, but I really liked this one. It fits the music nicely and makes sense. The breakdown in ‘Over, Under’ was also really cool. It showed that My Darling Fury has potential in faster songs as well. I’m looking forward to seeing this group grow and break out of their shell and recommend them to everyone.

Metropolis by Owl City
April found this will she was on a school trip I believe. This fits our site so good I had to post it. The song is “Metropolis” by Owl City. Just like almost every song of Owl City’s it has that catchy rhythm and lyrics. Thanks to the “Vevo” channel on YouTube for having this video available: (Stop Bullying when you can, but be safe.)
Music from Vampire Weekend
With a name like Vampire Weekend you kind of expect a goth sound to come from this band. However, the two songs spotlighted here (“Diane Young” and “Step”) are very light and pleasant in tone. I really like them and am interested enough to look into their whole 3rd album Modern Vampires of the City. Thanks to Wild Honey Pie for sharing the two videos below. Don’t let their name scare you away. Check out both videos. Out of the two I like “Step” best with it’s lyrics and how the video was shot with the Black and White imagery of the city. “Diane Young” is an upbeat tune that is infectious and the video is really simple.
