The Force of Will trading card game is delivering more content this October. Two new themed starter decks will be arriving at stores entitled Arrogant Swallowtail and Wings of Anger. The decks will contain 50 cards, a play sheet, a rules sheet, and a game manual. Then the booster packs that will be released to support the decks will be called Advent of Demons, which will have an additional 200 cards. These decks are scheduled for an October 20 release, but if your gaming store supports Force of Will, there are going to be free demo decks at participating stores starting mid July through the end of the month. So all your fans of TCG’s be sure to ask you stores if they will be receiving the demo decks. Thanks to ICv2 for letting us know what’s coming soon to our gaming shops.

If you purchased any of the last Magic: the Gathering set Battle for Zendikar you helped Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro have the strongest launch of a Magic set according to ICv2 and Hasbro’s CEO Brian Goldner. Magic is a strong product at the moment and I don’t think it will slow down any time soon. Some of our friends are Magic players/collectors and we want to wish them a fun time at the tournaments or pickup games they play.
Bushiroad has announced it’s latest TCG game, Luck & Logic. The English release of Luck & Logic is set for a Summer date and one has to wonder if the anime series that is a companion piece in Japan will to far behind for a North American release. ICv2 is reporting that the Pokemon Company has purchased air time for a Pokemon commercial during Super Bowl 50. This ad will kickoff the 20th Anniversary for Pokemon. The Official Pokemon Channel on YouTube has begun streaming the below add, but it is unclear if the same ad will be the one airing during Super Bowl 50, I kind of think they would have a different one for that after spending that much money for air time. The company is also declaring February 27th as Pokemon Day with several things happening. Here is the link to ICv2 for more details: http://icv2.com/articles/news/view/33466/super-bowl-50-spot-kicks-off-pokemon-20th Keep your eyes sharp and ears tuned in for special events during this year. So to Pokemon fans and the Pokemon Company happy 20th Anniversary!
