Michael Stec gives everyone a “Party Dress”. Michael falls within the Rock genre, but not a heavy rock. If you could maybe say lighter rock sound with “Party Dress” The single has a catchy rhythm and hook so I believe most will enjoy it like I did. Give Michael a listen through SoundCloud – Richard
MIRK releases their fourth single from their upcoming album Run, “Let it Go”. This is definitely not Disney’s “Let it Go”, so don’t be fooled. This single features a strong soulful female solo and then goes into MIRK’s upbeat feel. Take a listen through SoundCloud – Richard:
Jukebox the Ghost gives us Little Daylight’s “Postcard” as a remix. LIttle Daylight has a great easy listening synth sound that I enjoy. This harkens back to the late 1980’s, early 1990’s in style. “Postcard” reminds me a little of Ace of Base. Frogbelly and Symphony comes to us from across the pond. They have brought a unique sound with them in their single “Patch of Blue”. The single is partially experimental and also has a little bit of a chant quality to it and is part of their album Blue Bright Ow Sleep. This is one that will appeal to a specific person that likes to experiment with their music genres and try something new. The Score’s “Oh My Love” makes you want to get up and dance and move that body! I love the old style sound that they have done with the recording of this single. Mike Louttit is the force behind the band Fractal Control. This band is unique in this day and age because the are an instrumental band. This is a daunting challenge in today’s market place. However, if you give Fractal Control a chance I think most of you will dig them. They are a rock band, you just have to be willing to experience their music and let your imagination take control. Cafeine gives us their next single “Electric”, from their New Love album. Just like caffeine, Cafeine shots your body full of energy. Little Daylight gives everyone their Twice as Nice Remix of their single “Be Long”. I really like their electropop feel that they have with this remix. It’s an unusual song that it’s rhythm is a little upbeat, but the lyrics as sung on a more melancholy feel. It’s and interesting mix.
