Even thought this single has a serious message it is fun to listen to with its heavy bass beat and easy to listen to vocals. Stalking Gia is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her latest single “Second Nature”. “Second Nature” has a solid bass beat that brings you into the single and then the vocals have a little smokiness to them, throw this all together and you have a Blues quality to the single. Alice Underground is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her jazzy new single “Superman”. This is a fun song for fans of old school Jazz. Alice has a clear sultry voice that hits all the right notes and scats beautifully. Within the song their is a clear homage to Superman with the old theme song reflected in the single at certain points. This one hits our flavors perfectly especially how can it not with the title of “Superman”. I had to include the music video, even though it has no imagery of Superman, because it is just a fun video and the night club scene being in black and the pop of red gives a call out that is very subtle. Zeke Finn is sharing with the ComicPop listeners a fun energetic single, “Love Song”. All I can say is I love it! “Love Song” has that old feel quirky beat that for some reason always puts a smile on my face. A simple song that is complicated at the same time because of it’s simplicity. Cant’ wait to see what Zeke has on the rest of his self-titled EP that is slated for a release later this Summer. The Sherbert Gang, love the name by the way, is sharing with us their electro/pop single “Far Away”. “Far Away” is from their self titled EP that will be released later this year. This single will definitely get your blood to pumping. It starts out coming straight at you from the start and doesn’t let you go until you finish. Rel is giving our listeners a new experience in listening to music with “Factory”. With all the different sounds hitting me with this single I wasn’t quite sure about it. As “Factory” continued I really started to appreciate what is being done with the instrumentality of this piece. DreamVacation is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Letting in the Dead” off their Self-Titled EP. “Letting in the Dead” has a rock beat that will get your head to movin’ with a fun rhythm. The lead vocalist has a voice that is kind of a blend of Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty. I love the artwork they have for the single which is pictured above. Even though many will see this as a dark song before they even listen to it, once you listen to it you will get a new prospective that maybe the “Dead” are cool!…at least for the single “Letting in the Dead’ they’re cool!
