PEP latest single “Get Physical”
PEP wants everyone to enjoy their single “Get Physical”. If PEP’s sound is consistent with what they are doing with “Get Physical” they could be a fun group for me to listen to. The group has a few different styles going on with this single. They have a tribal beat going on that you would hear in something like The Lion King, but when they verse comes in I automatically go back to the ’50’s and thinking of how the Shangri-Las sang with “Leader of the Pack”. Then with the chorus you get a pop feel that gives you a ’70’s vibe. It doesn’t seem like all of these types of music would work, but it does and I’m eager to hear what PEP does next. Here’s “Get Physical”, by PEP, through SoundCloud – Richard:
Beau + Luci’s Single “Fire Dancer”
Beau + Luci is sharing with our listeners their single “Fire Dancer”. This single is the title track from their upcoming EP Fire Dancer, scheduled for release March 3. Judging by this single Beau + Luci’s style is country/rock. The single has a great beat to it with both voices harmonizing nicely to give the single a bit of otherworldly feel to it. For book lovers this next little tidbit is interesting. Within the description of this single it says that “Fire Dancer” is inspired by Cornelia Funke’s Inkheart Trilogy. Kind of cool! Alxxa’s Single “Nobody”
Alxxa is sharing with us her single “Nobody”. This single will be one that the club scene will enjoy. It has an electronic punch to the instrumentals, but Alxxa’s voice is really crisp and clear. I would love to hear her sing a more traditional single. I think that would really make her voice shine like it should. Definitely interested in what she will come up with next. Here’s Alxxa’s “Nobody” that you can enjoy through SoundCloud – Richard:

Down on Maddy to an interesting approach with his vocals for this single as well. Talk about a flashback. Gold Casio is sharing with us their disco inspired single “Socialites and Singer Types”. I couldn’t keep the smile off my face while listening to this. “Socialites and Singer Types” has all the hallmarks of a ’70” disco song, but it’s lyrics have modern day reflections. Even the groups name has that ’70’s reference with “Casio”…I mean come on, that’s just cool. Disco is all about having fun so take a moment and have some fun with Gold Casio’s “Socialites and Singer Types” through SoundCloud – Richard:
The Captain’s Son Releases “Walking Around Purposely”
The Captain’s Son is sharing with our listeners their single “Walking Around Purposely”. from their self-titled EP. This single harkens back to some old school rock/pop sound. Think of the music back in the 1960’s/1970’s when you would have bands pop up from local garages and play in the high schools or clubs. The trio capture that feel perfectly and I enjoyed the trip back to that time period for some fun music. Here’s The Captain’s Son’s single “Walking Around Purposely” through SoundCloud and if you enjoy them make sure to support them through your download provider of choice – Richard:
