Starbase Studios Time-Lapse Bridge Build

As most of our friends know Starbase Studios has recently relocated.  They are no longer in Oklahoma, but in Arkansas.  Over the holidays they moved the sets and have begun re-building them at their new home.  When the time comes and they are ready to schedule new fan film productions we will post to let everyone know.  Until then the group of The Federation Files YouTube channel has released a time-lapse video of them reconstructing the bridge.  Check it out these are two hard working gentlemen and I’m sure the productions of Valiant, Melbourne, Republic, and many others Star Trek fan film productions are glad to see the new studio taking shape:

Our friends in the Star Trek fan community have posted a new fan production on YouTube.  This one is from Starfleet Studios and The Federation Files with Glen Wolfe, Michael King and even Scott Johnson.  The poster for the fan production is above and it is called His Name is Mudd.  So all the Star Trek and Science Fiction fans we have have some fun by checking out His Name is Mudd:

Ep 10 ComicPop On The Road at Starbase Studios With Rene Perez

The ComicPop Crew retell their experience on their last trip to Starbase Studios in Oklahoma City.  We went down to help our friend Rene Perez with a Star Trek fan film that he is working on.  We find out the behind the scenes activities that crews do while filming.  Along with Rene we met several new friends to include: Colin Bryant, Alanna Forte, Richard Wells, Scott Johnson, Jennifer Free, Krystal Willis, John Snow, Hubert Roberts Jr., Owen Mills, Travis Horn, and Thomas Royall.  I hope I got everyone and if I didn’t I apologize, but everyone we met we had a great time with and can’t wait to see them again.

Ep 40 ComicPop Rockin’ in the Dirt with Lady Low

The ComicPop Crew had the pleasure of Lady Low sharing their album, And They Say Romance Is Dead with us.  The drop of this album and the timing of our review isn’t a coincidence happening around Valentine’s Day.  Lady Low released the album on February 12 and today is the drop of our podcast for them.  So happy Valentine’s Day from ComicPop Library and Lady Low with their album And They Say Romance Is Dead.  Thanks to Lady Low and Katie Trimble of The MuseBox for their continued support of ComicPop Library.

Back from A-KON

Starbase StudiosStarship ValiantToy and Action Figure Museum

Back at work today and got caught up.  Tomorrow I will start posting new items that have come our way and things of interest.  Will be editing some interviews the rest of this week and weekend to get posted in the next few weeks.  We were fortunate to have Scott, of Starbase Studios, and Michael, of the FanFilm Starship Valiant visit with us on the way down to Dallas and then on the way back up Keven, of the Toy and Action Figure Museum took some time to visit with us.  We are excited to get these up for everyone and to have a continuing relationship to bring you more visits with each of them and others.  This week will be an episode I edited before we went to A-Kon and then like I said the interviews will be up in a week or so.  Also a shout out to Vance Major and all the fine folks of the Starbase Studios and Starship Valiant community for support us on Facebook, you rock!
