Ciara O’Neill’s Music Video for “The Ebony Trail”

ciara

Ciara O’Neill is sharing, with the ComicPop listeners, her latest music video for her single “The Ebony Trail”.  Ciara uses her voice and acoustic instruments to their haunting abilities.  “The Ebony Trail” takes you on a journey that sounds so simple, but for an artist to use restraint is one of the harder things to do.  Simplistic is not always simple as I like to say.  The animation that Ashling Lindsay uses in the music video is also a simpler style which to me matches to the single’s sound well.  This single is one that you would use to reflect or contemplate while listening to Ciara’s debut album, by the same title, The Ebony Trail, which was released this last March.  Take in Ciara O’Neill’s, “The Ebony Trail” music video from her YouTube channel – Richard:

Tammy “Hated It (With You)” Single

blackpandaPRtammy

TAMMY is the duo Aaron and Brooke.  They are sharing their debut single with the ComicPop listeners “Hated It (With You)”.  This single has the stylings of 1950’s – 1960’s music.  One slight difference – the lyrics in “Hated It” are a little bit more edgier.  I really enjoyed TAMMY’s “Hated It (With You)” so have some retro-fun through SoundCloud – Richard:

Jason Achilles Mezilis’ “Panhandle” Music Video

city bird publicityjason

Jason Achilles Mezilis has just released his rock instrumental album Comedown this past June 28th.  Jason has been kind enough to share his music video for the  single “Panhandle” from that album.  Jason is in a world that most people don’t see to often, that being in the world of instrumentalist.  If you are like me and you listen to music for the rhythm and beat of a song more than likely you will enjoy instrumental pieces like soundtracks and Jason’s Comedown album, you just don’t realize.  “Panhandle” has a bit of a modern western flare to it and the music video carries that flavor over into it as well.  The music itself isn’t overbearing and really enjoyable.  Definitely interested to hear more from the album.  While you enjoy Jason Achilles Mezilis’ music video for “Panhandle” be sure to check out their site or a digital downloader to support the group and their release of Comedown.  Here’s “Panhandle” from their YouTube channel – Richard:

SixTwoSeven has a “Wreckless Soul” of a Single

cyberpr1sixtwoseven

SixTwoSeven is letting the ComicPop listeners experience their Rock/Grunge single “Wreckless Soul”.  This single has a good rock feel to it and the vocals, which are sometimes lost in rock songs, are nice a clear.  This makes for a greater experience with the song.  Rock it out with SixTwoSeven’s “Wreckless Soul” via SoundCloud – Richard:

Brezy Pulls us in With Her Single “Riptide”

Brezy

Brezy gives the ComicPop Library listeners a Summer tune to listen to with her single “Riptide”.  Even thought this single has a serious message it is fun to listen to with its heavy bass beat and easy to listen to vocals.  I can see “Riptide” being played at clubs to get people moving and grooving.  Enjoy your Summer day with Brezy’s Pop single “Riptide” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Alice Underground/Cowboy Bebop!

alice underground 1

Alice Underground is fast becoming one of my favs.  First it was their single and music video “Superman”.  Now check out this video they did with “Tank!” the theme from Cowboy Bebop. one of my favorite anime and it fits Alice Underground’s style perfectly.  Just pure fun!  The video is great and emulates the opening sequence to Cowboy Bebop perfectly.  If you are going to go to Anime Expo this weekend be sure to go to Alice Underground’s concert and support them.  If you are unable to attend check out the video from their YouTube channel and be sure to look them up on your digital vendors – Richard:

It’s “Second Nature” to Stalking Gia

blackpandaPRStalkingGia

Stalking Gia is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her latest single “Second Nature”.  “Second Nature” has a solid bass beat that brings you into the single and then the vocals have a little smokiness to them, throw this all together and you have a Blues quality to the single.  Very nicely done by Stalking Gia.  Check out “Second Nature” through SoundCloud – Richard:
