Wolf Saga Sways in “Auburn Nights”

museauburn nights

For some reason Wolf Saga’s “Auburn Nights” takes me back to listening to songs in the 1980’s.  I was in High School and just listening to all kinds of music, as any teenager does, and this would be one I would pick up just to sway my body to while singing it with the artist.  It’s a fun song that isn’t fast or slow…it’s just right as the saying goes.  Check out Wolf Saga’s “Auburn Nights through SoundCloud I think you will like it – Richard:

Serengety releases Her Single “Go”

cyberpr1serengety

“Go” has an interesting sound mix.  It has what I would say an Electric Soul sound.  The rhythm of “Go” is infectious and catches your interest from the first beats.  It has a strong bass beat that I enjoyed.  However, that strong bass was also a little to strong.  At times it overpowered Serengety’s vocals.  I’m interested in hearing her do more, but I want her voice to be the star.  I believe with the right single her voice could be a show stopper.  Check out Serengety’s “Go” through SoundCloud – Richard:

“The One” Music Video from CHCKLK

blackpandaPRCHCKLK

CHCKLK has just recently released their single and music video for “The One”.  This starts out with a dark feel to it that I didn’t quite expect, by just starting the song.  I go into these without any knowledge of the group as much as I can so I don’t know their style and it is a fresh take from me.  The dark music overpowers the lead singer, but that is intentional I feel because of the feeling the band wants the listener to experience.  However, just by listening to it the first time without the video I had no context for why they wanted to go so dark.  The upon watching the music video for “The One” it brought the single home for me and was much more enjoyable.  So first time listeners it might take a while to get used to this single, but by CHCKLK sharing their music video with us through their YouTube channel, the first time listener will have a better experience in understanding the dark experience that I believe the band wants you to have.  Put it this way if you are into the darker themes with your reading, viewing, and listening pleasure you will appreciate this single and music video – Richard:

Sneaky Bones’ Latest Music Video “Eternity”

city bird publicitysneaky

Sneaky Bones is sharing his latest single and music video with us entitled “Eternity”.  Sneaky Bones is definitely keep up that folk/Americana sound that we first heard with “Dreams”.  This time Sneaky Bones, I believe, was going for a softer sound with his voice, however this let the instrumentals over power him a little at times.  With his lower register voice he has to watch this and remember to lower the instruments volume or sing with his clear voice that I know he has.  Sneaky Bones is sharing with his “Eternity” music video with ComicPop Library, through his YouTube channel, for everyone to enjoy – Richard:

Atlas Jungle Gives us “Goa Nights” Music Video

cyberpr1atlas

Psychedelic hits us with Atlas Jungle’s “Goa Nights”.  With this single you get a pure instrumental/electronic piece.  It has a good rhythm to the single, but like any Psychedelic music it isn’t really about dance.  The music is about creating a feeling inside you.  I can see this piece playing in the background as you and your friends are just chilling to the groove.  Psychedelic isn’t for everyone, but if it’s your thing, you’ll enjoy “Goa Nights”.  Even if Psychedelic isn’t your thing take a listen, just to say you’ve experienced it and who knows you might find a new genre of music for your listening pleasure.  So check out Atlas Jungle’s music video for “Goa Nights” that they are sharing with us through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Young Rising Sons are “Coming Home”

blackpandaPRyoung rising sons

Young Rising Sons is sharing their latest “Coming Home” music video with us.  This is a case of I enjoy the single, but the music video didn’t really work for me.  Others might watch the music video and enjoy it.  The single itself, “Coming Home’, I really like.  It has a nice beat and the vocals come in with confidence.  It’s not an upbeat song per say but it isn’t slow either.  It’s one you can just groove to and sing along with.  The music video is a different animal.  It opens up with a feeling of the movie The Purge and then it just shows a windshield as a car is driving down the road.  You think it’s a lyric video, but fooled you it’s not.  The text that comes on the screen is a different message from the song so it is a little distracting, but like I said above others will like it.  Here’s the music video for “Coming Home” that Young Rising Sons is sharing with us through their YouTube channel.  Check it out and enjoy the song – Richard:

Antigone Rising is a “Game Changer”

cyberpr1antigone

In the tradition of The Go-Go’s and The Bangles comes Antigone Rising, with their single “Game Changer”.  I love it…it’s an upbeat song that I always enjoy.  Antigone Rising has that rock feel, but listening to “Game Changer” I definitely hear a country sound in this single as well.  This would be a great cross-over song for them.  Check out Antigone Rising’s music video of “Game Changer” that they are sharing with us through their YouTube channel – Richard:
