This is a fun upbeat single that grabs you from the start and No Dry Country wants you to enjoy it. Their single “Elvis Gun Runner” has an infusion of Outlaw Country, some Rock, and a bit of Pop Country. The beat reminds me of Sawyer Brown’s “The Race Is On” remake. The lead singers voice brings to mind Jackson Browne, whom I enjoy. Keep an eye out for No Dry Country’s album Panhandle Music from your favorite digital vendor. Ferentz and the Felons “Hudson County” Music Video
Ferentz and the Felons is sharing with out listeners their music video for their single “Hudson County”. This single is the title track off their upcoming album by the same name. The video takes the viewer into an urban struggle and a person deciding it’s time to say that’s it, let’s go somewhere else and start fresh. The single itself has a country feel, but it builds to a more rock sound towards the latter part giving it a southern rock feel. DAANI’s New Single “All of A Sudden”
DAANI is sharing with out listeners her single “All of a Sudden”. For me this single feels like a Mod song from the 1960’s. It has that fast clipy beat. With DAANI’s lower register it fits that Mod style well and then when the electronic sound on her voice through the chorus it nails that sound down even more. Check out DAANI’s single “All of a Sudden” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Lauren Waller’s Single “Can’t See”

Even with the single being about a failed relationship it has a catchy beat that uplifts the single. Here’s Lauren Waller’s “Can’t See” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Alexa Melo’s Music Video for Her Cover of “Crazy”
Alexa Melo is sharing with our listeners her music video for her cover of Gnarls Barkley’s single “Crazy”. I love the lower register of Alexa’s voice. She doesn’t try to strain into a higher ranger. With this lower range and slowing the rhythm down the single has a resonance that takes on a serious almost ominous sound.
The music video is shot around a upscale house with very nice landscaping. In this setting it gives the viewer the concept that this is a relationship that is collapsing. Before she releases her new EP MUTE Alexa Melo wants everyone to check out her music video for “Crazy” through her YouTube channel – Richard:
Barbudo’s Music Video for “Secret Admirer”
Barbudo’s is sharing with our listeners their latest music video of their new single “Secret Admirer”. When the music hits you, you get that funk late 1960’s – 1970’s style from the band. In the video the Walkman makes you think 1980’s, but the rest of the video is styled just like the single using that funk inspired feel.
There are times, with the camera angle, that the lead singer in his outfit and hair style give me Davy Jones feels of the Monkees. The music video is a longer video clocking in at over 5 minutes, but the flow of the music and fun feel of the video makes it feel like it isn’t that long.
Anyway for a fun listen check out Barbudo’s music video for “Secret Admirer” through their YouTube channel – Richard:
