The Constar Chronicles Promo Video

Constar animation at the beginning looks very nice. Introductions of the crew was an interesting concept (keeping them faceless until the wide shot). Capt Minard just looks pissed (going to have to find out who stole you’re pizza rolls). Don’t know if this is the direction you are going in but the statement about the Constar doing the jobs “no one else will” lends to Section 31. I like the concept of Section 31 having a starship attached to them. Could lead to some interesting stories. Warp speed ahead Mate you got my interest.  Check out Vance Major’s Promo for the Star Trek Fan Film “The Constar Chronicles” through his No Budget Productions YouTube channel – Richard:

“Someday” Cover Animated Video

This animated video, for “Someday”, that was added to  “DjBestOfRmxSerbia” YouTube channel is a great animated video and fits the single perfectly.  Of course “Someday” is performed by Michael Buble and Meghan Trainor and has a light hearted bubbly sound that is infectious.  The music video is just as infectious.  The CGI is spot on and the story that you follow is fun to watch as you listen.  So take a moment and enjoy Michael Buble and Meghan Trainor’s “Someday” from “DjBestOfRmxSerbia’s” YouTube channel – Richard:

Beachwood Coyotes Latest Single “Terror”

Beachwood Coyotes’ is sharing with us their new single “Terror”.  The speed of the instrumentals compared to the lyrics you would think they would clash.  However, it doesn’t.  What I’m referencing is the verse is much faster than the instrumentals.  When the chorus hits the vocals slow down to meet the instrumentals.  Very interesting, but it works.

I also love hearing the piano or at least a keyboard being a part of the single.  The single has that flowing pop rhythm that many will enjoy.  Here’s Beachwood Coyotes’ “Terror” that you can sway your body to through SoundCloud – Richard:

Polartropica “Golden Soul” Music Video

Polartropica is sharing with our listeners her music video for her single “Golden Soul”.  The single has a soft rock feel to it.  During the chorus though the bass beat picks up and the sound elevates to a nice crescendo and then back down to the softness of the verse.

The vocals have any airy feel to them that lends to an ethereal quality to the single.  I really enjoyed this as a single and then you get the fun of watching the video directed by White Star.

It is actually a music video that tells a story not just he person or group singing.  I love it when artists want to go the extra mile.  With this video the viewer is given basically a superhero short film.  Parts of the video gives you feels of a J- or K-Pop music video with its strangeness, but strangeness in a good way.  Cause we love us some J- and K-Pop here at ComicPop

Enjoy watching Polartropica’s “Golden Soul” music video through her YouTube channel – Richard:

ZULI’s “Blaze” Music Video

ZULI is sharing with our listeners his music video for his single “Blaze”.  “Blaze” hits the listener with a fun pop rhythm that gets your head to bobbin’.  About the half way point the single goes into a more rock sound then transitions back into the pop realm with just the instrumentals being allowed to rift.

The music video is an animated outing which definitely hits my sweet spot with my love for animation.  This single is an all around fun listen and watch with cameos from the crew of South Park, the doctors from Scrubs, and Mulder and Scully.

ZULI might be in your neighborhood so be sure to check out his tour date below.  whether he’s in your area or not check out his “Blaze” music video  through his VEVO channel – Richard:
