Mike Louttit is the force behind the band Fractal Control. This band is unique in this day and age because the are an instrumental band. This is a daunting challenge in today’s market place. However, if you give Fractal Control a chance I think most of you will dig them. They are a rock band, you just have to be willing to experience their music and let your imagination take control. Clemency Starting a Six Song/Music Video Venture

The dou Clemency is starting a venture that will span six songs and their related music videos entitled You’ve Got the Fire. The trailer for the experiment is below from their YouTube channel, but they have not yet released the first single/music video. Had a break yesterday. April had her music contest to see where she was at in her music pieces this year and from here she advances to Regional and if she gets “1’s” there she will move on to State.

4 November 2013 It’s official. The West Coast and specifically LA’s local music scene is giving Brooklyn a run for it’s money. Want to experience this burgeoning scene for yourself? Look no further than The MuseBox /Reverbnation’s November Residency every Thursday at The Silverlake Lounge!

To kick things off, we stacked our first night, November 7th, with a stellar line-up of garage rocking, psyched out area locals. Headlining the night are LA’s own Baby Fleas, grimy punks with a penchant for pop. Also on the bill are dreamy space band The Tulips, along with San Diego’s Wild Wild Wets and Jack Berry & The Loaded Loot.

The event, powered by The MuseBox , is also in conjunction with ReverbNation, supporting NoKillLA – an organization works to find homes for shelter animals to avoid euthanasia and working towards making LA a NO KILL CITY by 2017. A truly dedicated organization we all strongly believe in.

Ready for the kicker? The stacked night is totally and completely FREE, not even an RSVP needed! That’s five incredible locals acts, one incredible cause, and a typically listless night now taken care of for you.

Recording took place at The Ship studios in Eagle Rock, a haven of everything nautical, where Betsy feels “right at home” despite having no association to the sea!

The Deli Magazine is the only publication and web site entirely focused on the NYC music scene’s emerging artists. With an approach to local music organized by genre, this fest and the Spring 2013 Deli issue linked to it (out on May 23) offer the audience a quality selection of new local music for all tastes.

THE BEST OF NYC 2012 POLL FOR EMERGING ARTISTS

Once a year this established indie publication gathers together la crème de la crème of the NYC music industry, and asks them to choose their favorite Emerging Local Artists. Almost 100 artists including Spirit Family Reunion, Foxygen, DIIV, Widowspeak, Skaters, X Ambassadors have been selected by this jury of scene makers, which includes NYC bloggers, music writers, venue booking agents & radio DJs.

Each year, the Spring issue of The Deli is entirely dedicated to the artists that made this Best of NYC List and to the live event linked to it, aptly called The Deli’s NYC B.E.A.F. (as in Best of Emerging Artists Fest)

There is Danger has the latest release called “Passport”. This is one that will appeal to all the psychedelic fans out there.
