Brooke Forman gives us “Lioness”. With “Lioness” their is a nice steady beat that is the structure of the single, it’s not fast but it’s not slow either. Then with the other instruments and how they are being played and with Brooke’s voice (her voice has a lilt to it that I can’t place) gives this song a little bit of an international flare. Thanks to Brooke for sharing with us her music video, for “Lioness”, through her YouTube channel and enjoy – Richard:
Rolla Olak Music Video for their Single “Ghost Rider”
Rolla Olak is sharing with the ComicPop Library listeners the music video for their single “Ghost Rider”. “Ghost Rider” is from Rolla Olak’s third album Heavy Feathers. The sound to this single is laid back and easy to listen to. The style kind of reminded me of what Bruce Springsteen or Tom Petty sounds like when they are single one of their slower paced songs. I like the sound and enjoyed “Ghost Rider” because it put me in a relaxed mood. The music video will put you in a trance if you aren’t careful. Thanks to Rolla Olak for sharing “Ghost Rider” with us through Tone Shed Records YouTube channel – Richard:
Clavvs Newest Single “Leviathan”
Amber Renee and Graham Marsh are re-introducing themselves as the duo Clavvs. For this Clavvs is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their latest single “Leviathan”. The single’s beginning has an other worldly feel and then the vocals come in nice and clear. Even with the music being a little louder than the vocals Amber’s voice is crisp enough that she isn’t lost. With her voice I wish it would be over the music to really get her the spotlight. The single itself has an artistic electro/pop feel to it with a twinge of psychedelic mixed in. Take a listen to Clavvs, through SoundCloud, to experience the “Leviathan” – Richard:
My Darling Fury’s latest single “Satisfied”
My Darling Fury is sharing with ComicPop Library listeners their latest single “Satisfied”. Really liking this band. This is the second spotlight we have done for them. Thank you again to My Darling Fury for allowing us to listen to “Satisfied” through SoundCloud – Richard
Transmission Party has a “Beautiful Breakdown”
Transmission Party want the listeners of ComicPop Library to check out the music video to their single “Beautiful Breakdown”. Right from the start this took me back to a rock ballad from the 1970’s. It has an endearing quality to the single as well as a eerie quality to it. When you listen to the single it just draws you in so good job in achieving that. The music video style they selected fits the song perfectly. It is shot using old footage and new black and white footage is inter-sparsed throughout. Great job all the way around and here it is Transmission Party’s music video to “Beautiful Breakdown” from their YouTube channel – Richard:
RESH’s Music Video for “Boys Cry More”
RESH is sharing with us their music video for their single “Boys Cry More”. The beginning and end have a spoken portion to the single and roughly around 50 seconds in the music aspect of the single kicks in. The feel of this single is straight out of a dance club and RESH is very reminiscent in their music video to what Michael Jackson would do in his with the dance moves. Check out RESH’s “Boys Cry More” music video through ReshVevo’s YouTube channel – Richard:
Butcher’s Blind Single “Black & White Dreams”
Butcher’s Blind is sharing with ComicPop listeners their single “Black & White Dreams” from their Place In America EP, This single has a nice rhythm that I gravitated to immediately. The style of this song and the tone of the lead singers voice is very reminiscent of a Jackson Browne song. This one is right in my comfort zone so check out Butcher’s Blind “Black and White Dreams: through SoundCloud – Richard:
“Give Me Your Eyes” Music Video by Ionie
Ionie get sensual with her latest “Give Me Your Eyes”. The music video is no less sensual with it’s scenes, but it also has that reference of people needing to show their love and desire to their significant other. Ionie’s voice lends itself well to this type of music with a very soulful sound. Ionie is sharing with us her music video for “Give Me Your Eyes” through VydiaPop Vevo’s YouTube channel so check it out – Richard:

“Hold on Me” from ALEKO
ALEKO is sharing with us his single “Hold on Me” from his EP Amity. The single is through his YouTube channel, but the video is just the audio for his single not a music video, thought I’d just warn you. ALEKO has a nice clean sound with his single “Hold on Me”. It’s not one to make you jump up and dance in the street, this single is more of a laid back feel to it. One were you just groove with the music and sing along with ALEKO…you know you do it, so go ahead and do it with ALKEO’s “Hold on Me” – Richard:
