Bencoolen is sharing with the ComicPop listeners the title track off their upcoming album In Color. “In Color” is a mix of several different styles that meshes well. The opening is unexpected and you think big band, but then it goes into a catchy rhythm. Just by listening, in this single they has a Spanish influence. The catchy rhythm really makes your head bob to the music and is fun to listen to, check out ‘In Color” through SoundCloud and give Bencoolen some support on May 12, when their album drops – Richard:
Fly Never Dies Gives Us “Love and The Stars” Single
Fly Never Dies is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Love and The Stars.” The single features Casey Shea and is from their just released EP by the same name The Love and The Stars. This single has a electro/pop feel and then shifts into hip hop for it’s chorus. Towards the end the intertwine the two styles which brings out a cool effect. “Love and the Stars” has a feel good quality to it that you will enjoy. And how many songs feature a wood block as an instrument, unless that is an electronic sound effect sometimes it’s hard to tell, but still a wood block was an interesting choice. Check out Fly Never Dies single “Love and The Stars” through SoundCloud and then look up their EP to download – Richard:

Holy Sheboygan! is in the “Belly of the Beast”
Holy Sheboygan! is sharing their music video for “Belly of the Beast”, with our listeners. I love the R&B sound that the group has and can see more coming from them. About two minutes into the single there is a shift in rhythm that will throw some people, but then it goes right back into the original beat. With the music video it will be mixed in who will enjoy it or won’t. With everything spinning around, for some it will be difficult to watch if they have any type of motion sickness. Other wise it won’t be a problem. Have fun with “Belly of the Beast” that Holy Sheboygan! is sharing with us through their Vimeo account – Richard:

Melina Diehl wants You!, “Seriously”
Melina Diehl is sharing her debut single, “Seriously’, with the ComicPop listeners. This single is at it’s best because of it’s simplistic form. Not every artist can sing a song in this manner, because the singer becomes the focal point not the instruments. There is limited instruments and/or mixing to the sound, so to me it comes across as more pure. Very nicely done and Melina should be highly complimented for this. This is a comforting single about a person wanting to share their love with their significant other and wanting to take that first step towards a lasting relationship. Citabria Wants to “Take My Heart”
