Deadpool looks to be done right. Again this looks like it’s going to be fun! He also gets a dig in on his role in the Green Lantern movie.
Marvel’s latest Netflix series, Jessica Jones, is set to debut in the fourth quarter of 2015. Not to far away, but could also mean in December. I bet it’s sooner though. The series will star Kristen Ritter, in this next Hell’s Kitchen installment.
Are you ready for more Guardians of the Galaxy. If so I hope you like animation because that is the vehicle until a new live action movie is done. The Guardians of the Galaxy animated series will debut on Disney XD on September 26. Check out the teaser that IGN’s channel on YouTube has streaming:
Growing up my parents always picked up the DC Comics for me. So I’m more of a DC guy instead of a Marvel guy even though I love Marvel as well. But man I love see the small screen and big screen coming to life with what to me are my heroes. So you knew I couldn’t let the weekend come without posting the trailer to the new Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer that debuted at ComicCon. All I can say is it looks good. Seems to pick up within the Man of Steel battle, with Bruce Wayne present in Metropolis at the time. So that was a nice tie-in. Plus Batman has always been about protecting the people even to include other heroes that might turn. Check out Justice League: Tower of Babel for this concept. Marvel has evidently gotten to big and is pulling a DC move with the merging of worlds in the 2015 Secret Wars titles. Sounds like what DC had to do with their Infinite Crisis story and Convergence story. Even Star Wars had to do something like this with it’s Expanded Universe that was axed and continuity started again. Meet Tom Holland or should be say Peter Parker. Sony and Marvel (Disney) has somehow worked out an agreement to allow Spider-Man to become part of the Marvel Films. In doing so Sony has recast Peter Parker/Spider-Man with Tom Holland. Holland will first appear in the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: Civil War and then have his own stand alone film. Hopefully this will work out and Marvel can talk to other companies to get other characters back into the Marvel film universe.
Marvel is trying to tap into all the adults that still love to color. I myself have to admit to coloring in a coloring book every now and again. Marvel is producing three to test the market over the next year. The first coloring book will be out in October for $7.99 and will be entitled Avengers: Age of Ultron Coloring Book and will have 72 pages of artwork from professional artists in the industry. Then in February 2016, Marvel will release Little Marvel by Skottie Young Coloring Book and the last coloring book will be released in May 2016, Civil War Coloring Book. These are meant for adult audiences and I can see people buying two…one to save the artwork and one to actually color in, but the question will be will adults pay $7.99 for a coloring book? We will see.
Yes, here we go! Netflix has renewed Daredevil for a second season and we also get to see the red costume.
We get a new image, from Entertainment Weekly, from the upcoming Ant-Man movie. We get to see the costume for Yellowjacket that the Ant-Man will be squaring of against. Thanks to ICv2 for the update.
