We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
For everyone that has Netflix the wait is almost over for Marvel’s Daredevil. Sadly I am one of those that do not subscribe to Netflix. I’m thinking it will come out on DVD eventually and I’ll catch it that way…I can wait. Anyway here is the latest trailer from NetFlix through CBR Trailers YouTube channel:

Marvel and Mad House are teaming up again for another animated feature. The new feature is Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and Punisher. Release date is slated for March 25. What most people believed would happen is going to happen. In 2015, the Star Wars comic books will be back under the Marvel Entertainment Banner. In a business sense this makes all the sense in the world. Disney now owns both Marvel and LucasFilm, so this move will have the properties under their control. Dark Horse Comics has done a great job over the past 20 plus years and we thank them for their work. Now fans must get ready for the transition, but we have 12 months.
Lucasfilm and Marvel Join Forces to Publish Star Wars Comics
The Star Wars Universe comes to Marvel Comics in 2015!
The Walt Disney Company’s Lucasfilm Ltd. and Marvel Entertainment are joining forces to bring new Star Wars adventures to readers across the galaxy, with Marvel granted exclusive rights to create and publish Star Wars comics and graphic novels beginning in 2015.
The agreement marks a homecoming for the Star Wars comic books. Marvel Comics published the first Star Wars comic book, STAR WARS #1, in March 1977, which went on to sell more than 1 million copies. Marvel Comics published its STAR WARS series for nine years. In 1991, Dark Horse Comics took over the license, publishing fan-favorite titles like Dark Empire and Star Wars: Legacy. Last year, Dark Horse released The Star Wars #1, an adaptation of George Lucas’ original rough-draft screenplay for the film, garnering rave reviews and national media attention and ranking among the top-selling Star Wars comics of all time.
“Dark Horse Comics published exceptional Star Wars comics for over 20 years, and we will always be grateful for their enormous contributions to the mythos, and the terrific partnership that we had,” said Carol Roeder, director of Lucasfilm franchise publishing, Disney Publishing Worldwide. “In 2015, the cosmic adventures of Luke, Han, Leia and Chewbacca will make the lightspeed jump back to Marvel, to begin a new age of adventures within the Star Wars universe.
“We here at Marvel could not be more excited to continue the publication of Star Wars comic books and graphic novels,” said Marvel Worldwide Publisher and President, Dan Buckley. “The perennial brand of Star Wars is one of the most iconic in entertainment history and we are honored to have the opportunity to bring our creative talent pool to continue, and expand Star Wars into galaxies far, far away.”

We get a new Ms. Marvel in the Marvel NOW Universe. This looks to be a great new direction for the comic. Why people are having such a fuss is beyond me. We are supposed to be the melting pot of the world and with that comes diversity. I have friends that were Muslim and quite a few other ethnic groups and we never thought about our differences, we just thought about our shared interests and enjoyed each others company. I will give this a try just like I would any other comic book out there on the racks and if it is written and drawn well I will enjoy it just like I enjoy other comic books.

To me it’s fun to be a comic book fan at this point in time. Just think about how many movies have been based on comic books in the past decade, the ones that are coming out now, and then the ones coming out in the near future.
