Star Wars X-Wing Game gets 4 New Ships
The four ships pictured above are being released for the Star Wars X-Wing Game. Each side is getting two ships, the Imperials are getting the Lambda-Class Shulttle and TIE Bomber, while the Rebels are getting the HWK-290 and B-Wing Fighter. So if you have started this game you will probably want to stay up on the expansion packs, so check you local gaming store to pick these up or get them on order.

R.I.P.D. Trailer and I was Wrong
In our Summer Movie podcast I speculated that the R.I.P.D. was a spinoff of the Hellboy Comics. I humbly come to you and say I was completely wrong. It is still based on a comic book though. Finally New Kingdom Hearts Manga
Yen Press has announced that it will begin publishing Kingdom Hearts Manga. This property was originally published by TokyoPop and has been in limbo for the past few years. The first manga release is scheduled for this November with the title Kingdom Hearts: 365/2 Days. If you where picking them up before you will want to start getting them again.
Ascension: Rise of Vigil Deck-Builder
Stone Blade Entertainment will be releasing Ascension: Rise of Vigil expansion on April 3. It will contain 259 cards and will have a new type of card called a “Treasure” card and also a new “Resource” energy card. The suggested price is $39.99. Late summer the will be an Ascension Apprentice set that will allow new players to try the Ascension deck-building game at a price of $10.00 and then in late summer they will have Ascension Theme Packs for $4.99. So all you Deck-Builder fans be ready for you local specialty stores to get these in.

New Pokemon Trading Cards
More TCG news. New cards in the Pokemon Universe will be released on May 18. The set is Pokemon: Black and White – Plasma Freeze and will be a 110 card set that will include EX Cards, ACE SPEC Cards, Trainer Cards and others.
New HeroClix
Toy Fair showed some new HeroClix that WizKids will be coming out with this year. One of the new license that WizKids picked up was for the Kick-Ass 2 Movie. The projected release date for them is for June 28.
Season 3 of Game of Thrones
HBO’s Game of Thrones: Season 3 will debut the last of March. One of the better adult fantasy stories that I have seen. Definitely not kid friendly, but even if you have not read the books, but love the fantasy genre, you will more than likely love this series. Marvel Romance Novels
Disney is trying to reach out to the romance readers with Marvel Heroines, through it’s Hyperion Books publishing branch. This new venture will hit shelves in June with She-Hulk Diaries by Marta Acosta and Rogue Touch by Christine Woodward. You might check them out to and see if they are something you want in your collections.
