Native Angeleno, devout DIY-ist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, painter, artist, philanthropist and renaissance family man are all accurate descriptives for JD Shultz “aka” Human Brother. He’s releasing a new collection of songs in February called Back to Music.
It’s twelve tracks reflecting an eclectic mix of world and roots influences with positive, life affirming messages – making for a warm, ambient rock record. Shultz wrote, arranged and played all of the instruments on the record. He also produced and recorded Back to Music.
Back to Music reflects Shultz signature aesthetic on plexiglas too… bold, colorful, full of energy and modern. Companies like MGM’s The Bellagio in Las Vegas and Guitar Center commission his work. He built his reputation in and around Los Angeles by simply painting on anything that he could and then eventually launching his own gallery.
