Presley Tennant’s Christmas Single “Santa Tell Me” Cover

I know it is after Christmas, but this came in from Presley Tennant and I wanted to feature it.  This fits in with our last post for our Christmas podcast discussing the manga, Sweet Rein.  Presley covers Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me” to share the Christmas joy with everyone.  Presley gives our listeners a great rendition of this single with a pure voice that shines through.  The music video has a young feel to it that makes it fun to watch.  It’s going to be exciting to see what other presents Presley will give listeners this next year.  So take a moment after your holiday season to remember the weekend with Presley Tennant’s music video, where she covers “Santa Tell Me”, from her YouTube channel – Richard:

Presley Tennant’s “BFF” Music Video

Presley Tennant is sharing with our listeners her new single and music video “BFF” that features Well Written.  I love the spin Presley has put on the “BFF” meaning, because we’ve all had them, and to know what I mean you will have to watch and listen to her music video.  Anyway “BFF” lands squarely in the pop genre.  Presley is full of energy in her singing that is shown in this single with its upbeat fast tempo.  But she didn’t stop there.  In her music video she delivers a ton of energy as well, which captures the viewer to watch it.  I love upbeat tempo in my music and this one hits it perfectly for me.  Yes, the single is a little snarky, but that’s part of the appeal.  Have some fun by checking out Presley Tennant’s “BFF” music video from her YouTube channel – Richard:

Kylie Spence’s Debut Single “Lying Eyes”

Kylie Spence is sharing with our listeners her debut single “Lying Eyes”.  Kylie starts the single with a simple sound and then the instrumentals come in and her voice swells to a nice pop beat.  I love this fuller sound in the chorus.  Definitely interested in what she delivers on her EP.  Until then here’s Kylie Spence’s “Lying Eyes” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Midnight Beach’s Music Video for “No”

Midnight Beach is sharing with our listeners again.  This time they want everyone to check out their music video for their single “No” from their self-titled LP.  Midnight Beach still comes out with the electronica sound, but with a slower bass beat.  The mixing for this single is tremendous.  With the softer lead vocals and the heavy bass beat the vocals could have been lost within the instrumentals.  However, the mixer made sure the vocals were a distinct track that rose above the instrumentals.  The music video is crisp and clean and fun to watch.  The dancing is right out of the late 1980’s – 1990’s as well as the sound.  Their self-titled LP is out now!  Here’s Midnight Beach’s music video, for “No”, through Vevo – Richard

Danny Padilla’s Single “Too Bad”

Danny Padilla’s single “Too Bad” starts out with a encompassing sound that takes you in.  The breathiness of the singing gives it an ethereal quality.  Then Danny comes in with his strong baritone voice that pulls you in even more.  It is more of a ballad song that talks about how sometimes it is hard to get over someone.  This has a beautiful sound to me that I could listen to over and over.  I am definitely eager to hear what else Danny comes out with.  Enjoy Danny Padilla’s “Too Bad” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Epoch Failure’s Single “Warrior’s Hymn”

Epoch Failure has been anything but a failure since the debuted their EP Warrior’s Hymn in May.  This HipHop/Pop Duo has been feature on ESPN’s First Take as the feature artist with the show playing their title track from the EP during May and CBS Sports also used their “Legacy” track as a feature in their NFL Champsionship Chase.  The duo wants our listeners to check out their title track, “Warrior’s Hymn”, that was featured on First Take as well.  Experience that hard beat that will drive you to perform and then discover the other tracks from their Warrior’s Hymn EP from your digital vendors of choice.  Here’s Epoch Failure’s “Warrior’s Hymn” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Midnight Beach Debut Single “Fantasy”

Midnight Beach is coming to our listeners from the state of Florida.  The group is sharing their debut single “Fantasy” for us.  The single has that late 1980’s – 1990’s Electronic sound that will appeal to many.  The verse really has that retro Electronic/Techno feel and when the chorus comes in it hits like a wave.  Love the energy that the chorus has and it will pick you up and get you going.  “Fantasy” is from Midnight Beach self-titled album that is available now and if they continue the fun vibe that “Fantasy” has through their whole album you will want to add it to your retro styled music library.  Here’s Midnight Beach’s “Fantasy” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Aria Wunderland’s Single “Coup D’etat

Aria Wunderland is sharing her single “Coup D’etat” with our listeners.  I know that this is a politically charged single, but I’m not going to dwell on that aspect except to say that it doesn’t matter who has the reigns of authority they should always be questioned and have checks and balances.  With that “Coup D’etat” has an unsettling rhythm to it that I believe Aria was going for to have the listener have a sense of unease.  The vocals themselves are sometimes lost within the music with her singing at a level that is right at the same level as each other.  Here’s Aria Wunderland’s single “Coup D’etat” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Ninet’s Music Video for “Subservient”

Ninet is sharing with our listeners her music video for the single “Subservient”.  Ninet is currently working on her first U.S. album and has four album’s that she did in Israel.  With this single and music video Ninet will intrigue many and make others uncomfortable.  “Subservient” plays on the sexuality that many will recognize from Eyes Wide Shut and Shades of Grey.  The single has a very seductive feel to it and the music video is really well made.  I really enjoyed it, but it is definitely a mood piece.  So if you so desire, take a trip on the little darker side of life with Ninet’s “Subservient” music video through her YouTube channel – Richard:
