ICv2 is reporting that WGN America has ordered a pilot for the DC Comic’s Vertigo title Scalped. The series will be an adaptation of Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera’s comic book series. If this comes to pass I would expect something on the level of the Walking Dead production, because this is a great story told for a mature audience.
General Mills Batman v Superman Mini Comics
If you are a comic book collector like I am and you haven’t been down the cereal aisle in you local grocer you might want to go down it. General Mills is doing another DC Comics promotional and this time it is with the upcoming Batman v Superman movie. Their are four mini comic books that are randomly inserted in five different cereals. The cereal boxes to look for are: Cocoa Puffs; Trix; Lucky Charms; Golden Grahams; and Honey Nut Cheerios. I’ve gotten one issue so far, just three more to go.
Supergirl/Flash Crossover Announced
ICv2 has posted some exciting news for DC television fans. Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg announced that the CW’s Flash will appear in CBS’ Supergirl. The Crossover episode will air March 28. This will bring the DC television universe a fifth tie-in show even though Supergirl is on CBS. It has already been stated that Constantine has been in Arrow even though that show was canceled the character has lived on. The other three (Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) being on the CW. Don’t know how they would tie in with Gotham unless they bring in a grown up Bruce/Batman and use the same villain actors with some aging makeup on them or have the Legends of Tomorrow team go to that timeline in Gotham. It would be really cool if they could get them all tied together.

Take a look at the latest from DC Comics. The new animated feature Justice League vs. Teen Titans. I have really enjoyed what DC Comics and Warner Bros. Pacific Rim Hits Pacific Coast
Six Flaggs already has ties with Warner Bros. and features DC Comics character and Looney Tunes charater rides in their theme parks across the United States with a variety of rides. Now Six Flaggs Discovery Kingdom, in Vallejo, California, has announced that it will be adding a Pacific Rim attraction to it’s theme park. Might be cool we’ll just have to wait and see. No specific dates have been announced before the attraction will be open just coming soon, but it is this year.
