Monogold’s Music Video for “Lovebug”
Monogold is sharing with the ComicPop listeners the music video for their single “Lovebug”. The video has a throwback feel for those home videos that several families made. This is one past time my family didn’t partake in we didn’t even do much in the way of pictures. With this single Monogold blends their higher pitched voices in with the instrumentals. Their EP Yolk was released this past December so for a quick peek at Monogold’s sound check out the music video for their single “Lovebug” through their YouTube channel – Richard

Nilu’s Latest Single “What I’m Looking For”
Nilu is sharing with ComicPop again and this time it is with her single “What I’m Looking For”. This time around Nilu gives the listener a bluesy experience with a little bit of skatting thrown in. This is one that I can easily see performed in a blues club for all to enjoy. So take a moment for Nilu’s “What I’m Looking For” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Omamori Himari Trailer
Omamori Himari, from FUNimation, looks to be one of those series that has many fan service moments and placing the characters in embarrassing situations. Public libraries, especially smaller ones might want to see if they can view an episode or two to see if it they would have the viewership within their community. Here’s the trailer you can check out through FUNimaiton’s YouTube channel:
Mungbean’s Single “Am Your Eyes”
Mungbean is sharing with our listeners their single “Am Your Eyes”. This single has an ethereal electronica sound to it. The vocals are blended in with the instrumentals that bring out the ethereal feel that I get. The duo are working on a planned EP for 2017 until then you can check out Mungbean’s sound with “Am Your Eyes” through SoundCloud – Richard:

BREATHERR’s Experimental Single “Chantrieri” Music Video
Those of our listeners that like to experiment with their music entertainment will get into BREATHERR’s single “Chantrieri”. With “Chantrieri” everything about it makes for a tense listen. The instrumentals and vocals don’t have much of any type of break and just keep driving forward through the single. I’m fairly positive this is intentional with the music video’s scenes moving through at what feels like a frantic pace with the percussion driving it forward. Check out BREATHERRR’s music video “Chantrieri”, through his YouTube channel, to do some experimentation with what you listen to, you just might find you like it – Richard:
