Here’s a call back to a single in the late 1980’s with a current anime Rwby with “I’m Gonna Be” performed by The Proclaimers. The Haras da Hippo edits together the single with scenes from Rwby for “Rwby AMV – I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” and it was uploaded last year. It’s just a fun song so enjoy from their YouTube channel:
Brian Fitzy is bring us some R&B with his single “No Idea”. Brian has a voice that is in the higher register and it fits well with the upbeat rhythm of this single. When you listen to it you kind of get a Hall & Oates feel minus the Oates. With his higher voice and the upbeat rhythm it gives the single a bright airy feel to it. Seven Day Sleep isn’t wanting our listeners to sleep. They want you to check out their music video for their single “Red Lipstick Murders”. The leads vocals are really crisp and clear and when the single starts the simple keystrokes sound eerie and then the heavy sound hits fast to lead into the verse which is more of a pop influence and then they band takes you into the metal sound with the chorus. I really love the beat of this single and the different things that they bring into it. Seven Day Sleep’s style for this single appeals to me and I think others will enjoy it as well. The music video they have with the single is fun to watch as well. All the way around a nicely packaged single. This looks good! CW Network is still bring us our DC Comics superhero goodness and this time it’s Black Lightening. This looks to fit in seamlessly with the other CW superhero shows. Nozart is back and this time they are sharing with our listeners their single “Orphanage”. For fans of songs that are story based, which Logan and I are, “Orphanage” is made for you. The opening to this single itself feels like you are opening a book and getting ready to read a story. The simple rhythm and instruments give this single a fairy tale aspect. The vocals come through nice and clear and add to the story quality. It is a slower song, but the quality overcomes that. We are choosing to show the music video for “Orphanage” from Nozart’s YouTube channel. One because it is an animated video and we love animation here and two the animation for the music video makes it feel like you are reading a Neil Gaiman story made by Tim Burton. ICv2 is reporting that even before Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters, Sony is hard at work moving forward with a Venom feature film. It is reported that Tom Hardy is slated to play Eddie Brock/Venom and the feature will be directed by Ruben Fleischer. It is slated for a October 2018 release.
