This week’s AMV Spotlight is on “Fenix86R”. In this AMV, the individual takes the song “Bullet-Proof Skin” performed by Institute and edits in images from the Gatchaman OVA. The editing is done nicely and the song works, but to be honest I chose this AMV because I’m a little biased toward Gatchaman. When I was in elementary I would run home and watch Battle of the Planets. At the time I was so young that I had no idea that it was a Japanese property. Of course I know better now and anything that has any incarnation of Gatchaman hits my sweet spot. Have fun watching the AMV below from “Fenix86R” on YouTube:

Star Driver Theme Song Streamed
The idol group 9nine’s has made the theme song for the upcoming Star Driver the Movie. The theme is entitled “Colorful” and Sony Music Entertainment began streaming the music video to it on Japan’s official YouTube channel. The movie itself will be released February 9, in Japan. Just saw this on the Yahoo ticker and thought it was really cool. Matthew Albanese in his spare time makes these amazing dioramas out of a variety of everyday items and takes beautiful pictures of them when they are finished. Dead or Alive Release Date
Here’s another title you might want to consider for you video game collection. Dead or Alive 5+ is scheduled to be released March 16, to the North American market. It will be available on the PlayStation Vita system and it will be cross-compatible with the PlayStation 3.
