If you didn’t know Walking Dead has invaded the TCG realm. It is not the first horror TCG, and if you like the show it might be interesting to play. If you are a collector of TCG’s you will want to add this game to your collection. The suggested retail price is $15.00.
Shochiku, a film distributor, began streaming a trailer for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (or Star Blazers to a large group of fans). Shochiku has distributing this anime series as a group of movies and is releasing the sixth movie June 15 entitled, Totatsu! Dai Magellan (Arrival! The Large Magellanic Cloud). Hopefully when all is said and done this remake will make its way to the North American market, because Star Blazers is still recognizable by many anime fans. Banks has a sound of a seductive songstress. The quality of music is kind of Bluesy and her voice to me is similar to Bonnie Raitt. She only has three songs out that I could find at this time “Warm Water” (which is below as a video), “Fall Over”, and “Before I Ever Met You”. LucasFilm, with Disney Publishing Worldwide, has announced that the second Star Wars Reads Day will be on October 5. For any comic store, book seller, or library that wishes to register for a free event kit go to http://starwars.com/reads/. As of this particular time the registration was not up, but keep going back to see when registration comes available.

If you are a Sailor Moon fan here is something you might enjoy. Bandai’s official shopping site, Premium Bandai is offering the above cosmetic. Bandai’s cosmetic branch Creer Beaute is releasing this “Shining Moon Powder” for Sailor Moon’s 20th Anniversary. The cosmetic is inspired from the Sailor Moon R’s Crystal Star Broach and retails for 3,980 yen (approximately $40.00).
MicroSoft began streaming a three minute short featuring Production I.G.’s Ghost in the Shell property. The short is in conjunction with the release of Ghost in the Shell Arise. The short, entitled Ghost in the Shell Arise: Another Mission, is a dialogue and features almost every character from the series and of course MicroSoft’s Surface tablet. The Ghost is the Shell Arise series will debut in Japan on June 22 and will have four parts. Then on July 26 the movies will be available on Blu-ray and DVD. With Ghost is the Shell being popular I would expect the Blu-ray and DVD set will arrive in the North American market toward the end of the year. Very cool cross promotional.
