The Star Wars Comic Book Series

Dark Horse Comics is coming out with The Star Wars mini series based on George Lucas’ original screenplay.  If you buy individual issues or the trade format this is one your will want to consider for your collections.  Of course for the trade you will have to wait a while until it is released after the mini series has finished its run.  Thanks to “darkhorsecomics” channel on YouTube for the following trailer:

Alien Deck Building Game

Upper Deck has announced that in 2014 they will be releasing an Alien Legendary Deck Building Game.  There is no set artwork for the game or hard release date, but CCG collectors will probably want to sneak some extra money to the side to be ready for the games release to add to their collections.

Blast of Tempest Trailer

Aniplex has the first season of Blast of Tempest available for purchase.  One to consider for the anime collection.  Thanks to “AniplexUS” on YouTube for the trailer:

Like a dream collaboration between Sleigh Bells, Alt-J, and Arctic Monkeys, Brick & Mortar make beat-heavy rock

“Keep This Place Beautiful” Premieres on EARMILK
“Terrible Things” Premieres on Pigeons & Planes
“No, I Won’t Go” Premieres on ArtistDirect
Hey gang I just listened to some of Brick & Mortars singles.  This one is kind of a hard one to pin down for me.  I can hear different influences in the different titles.  In “Bangs” you definitely hear the hard rock influence, but then you have some traditional rock feel and alternative rock in another.  So the band is kind of all over for me, which isn’t a bad thing, it means they have variety on their EP.  What I really enjoy is that no matter what the style you can clearly hear and understand the lead vocals.  Kind of hard to do with some of the styles they perform.
Asbury Park, NJ’s Brick & Mortar are Brandon Asraf (bass, vocals) and John Tacon (drums, samples, vocals). The duo may have chosen to name themselves after building essentials, but at this point, they’re veritably blowing up.

Move Fast to See the Evangelion Exhibit

And yet another cool exhibit in Japan.  This time it is in Tokyo.  In Matsuya Ginza they are having a 1,300 piece exhibit for Evangelion, which coincidentally has a store there for you to purchase your Evangelion merchandise.  In the 1,300 piece exhibit visitors will be able to view original drawings, storyboards, landscape layouts, video screens, and life size figures.  But with this one you will have to hurry.  The exhibit ends August 26.  So if you happen to be in the area get there before the week is over.  The exhibit is open from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., with an entrance fee of 1,000 yen ($10) for adults, 700 yen ($7) for college and high school students and free to junior high students and younger.  I hope whoever can make it can.

Another Awesome Display in Japan

The broadcast station WOWOW has been displaying a full-size VF-25 Valkyrie at the Minatomirai station in Yokohama.  WOWOW is doing this in conjunction with the station’s first time to air The Super Dimension Fortress Macross in HD.  Everyone that goes through Minatormirai station is greeted, by this wow factor until September 2.  If you happen to be near the station check it out.

Apologies

I want to apologize to everyone out there.  I was planning on uploading the latest Episode last Friday, but I was laid up over the whole weekend.  So I will be packaging the episode up today to upload and then this Friday we have another Visit that will be posted for all the Indie Music lovers out there.  Take care everyone.

Kick-Ass 2 Trailer

I hope Kick-Ass 2 is as fun as the first one.  It’s the only movie that is catching my interest this weekend.  I just ready for a popcorn movie.  Thanks to “MOVIECLIPS Trailers” on YouTube for the following trailer:
