Jeanine Debuts “Runnin'”

This is a promising start for Jeanine. “Runnin'” reminded me of something Diana Ross might sing, just in a higher register. I have to say I love the Wolverine pic above. Anyway back to the single. Jeanine even with a higher voice, she is very clear with her lyrics, which is difficult for a higher register singer. I also loved the up beat of “Runnin” . The beat does get a little repetitive, but I believe that was what Jeanine was going for. By the time the single is finished the listener is wore out, just like you would be if you were running. Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards that Every Fan will be Looking For

Konami will be releasing a new 52 card, all foil card, set called Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG: World Superstars, on April 17. The set will be available in packs for $3.99 for five cards. A complete set will include 18 prismatic secret rares and 48 super rares. Many of the cards where only released in Japan and Korea previously. Logan will be going bonkers trying to get his set.

herMajesty’s Latest “Days Turn into Nights”

HerMajesty gives us their latest single “Days Turn into Nights”. This single is a real moody single. With this single herMajesty has to be careful because the lead singers voice is right on the edge of being lost in the instrumentals, but it hovers right above that threshold. “Days Turn into Nights” feels like you are in a bath and have warm water slowly being poured over you, while you have a nice drink or if someone has joined you for some welcome activities. Digital Manga Surprising Numbers in Japan

Yano Research has finished a report that gives the digital content numbers for the last year in Japan. In the digital book category, approximately 65 Billion Yen or 540 Million Dollars was spent on digital manga. This accounts for 80% of the overall digital book market. If only people in the United States would shed the concept of comic books only for kids, we could have a bigger interest here.

The Great Work’s Latest “Yellow Diamond”

Here is the latest single from The Great Work, “Yellow Diamond”. This has a nice rock feel that everyone will like. iZombie Gets Life at CW

I’m liking the CW Network more and more. They have added another comic inspired show to their rotation, with iZombie. I enjoy the comic book these are based on being CW it is a DC/Vertigo property. Lindsay Mac Debut Single “Remember”

The first thing that popped into my head at the beginning of Lindasy Mac’s “Remember” was….Owl City. This single really harkens to his style. It is very upbeat in tempo and her voice is very clear. I love this style myself and hope she continued on for the rest of her EP entitled Animal Again. Dynasty Warrior 8 Trailer

KOEI Tecmo America is streaming the opening and a small segment of game play on their YouTube channel, of Dynasty Warrior 8: Empires. The video game is scheduled for release January 27 and will be on the PlayStation 3 & 4, Vita, and PC. Check out both videos:

New World of Warcraft Titles

Blizzard Entertainment and Dark Horse Comics has announced that it will begin a series of books that will delve into the history and mythology of World of Warcraft. However, you are going to have to wait a while for them. The schedule release date for the first volume is November 4, with a retail price of $39.99. I guess you can look at it as you have time to put back the money for it.
