We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Our third episode for “Soundtracks” is here. Listen as the ComicPop Crew howls at the moon, even though I let the music overpower us the majority of the time, as Jonathon and Logan try to get the title of the song and/or the movie title to these animated films. What do you collect? We love collecting our collections of books, comics/manga, movies, toys, and trading card games. As a collector you would think a movie entitled The Collector would be great for us. It is a good fit for us, but in a different way than what you might expect. This “Collector” loves his horror and I have to admit we like our horror here as well. Join the ComicPop Crew as we discuss Marcus Dunstan’s feature horror film The Collector.

The Girl in the Bay is a four issue mini-series from Dark Horse Comics. At watching the trailer I am definitely intrigued to see what this story is like. Sounds like a cool read and the artwork looks cool as well. I tend to like clean modern artwork, that’s just me. For collector’s that want to pick this up in floppies the first issue is already out and possibly even the second by this posting, you’d have to check with your local comic shop. If you like your comic books collected and look nice on a book shelf, which is much nicer for public library collections, the scheduled release date of the collected version is currently set for September. Thanks to Dark Horse’ YouTube channel for the trailer to The Girl in the Bay:
Just saw this yesterday with Logan and Michelle. Great fun! I hope everyone will check it out and have a good time like we did. Thanks to Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel for this trailer:
