Indigoe is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Call in the Air”. “Call in the Air” is definitely a Electric/Pop single. You can tell that the instrumentals are the feature especially with the intro for the single.. Indigoe is planning on having different feature artists as the vocalist on their new releases and for this single the featured artist is Todd Hugenour. The style is has a very SciFi feel to it and the artwork above just adds to the vibe. A great intro for me to Indigoe and I can’t wait to hear what else they come out with. Jason Achilles Mezilis’ “Panhandle” Music Video
Jason Achilles Mezilis has just released his rock instrumental album Comedown this past June 28th. Jason has been kind enough to share his music video for the single “Panhandle” from that album. Jason is in a world that most people don’t see to often, that being in the world of instrumentalist. If you are like me and you listen to music for the rhythm and beat of a song more than likely you will enjoy instrumental pieces like soundtracks and Jason’s Comedown album, you just don’t realize. “Panhandle” has a bit of a modern western flare to it and the music video carries that flavor over into it as well. The music itself isn’t overbearing and really enjoyable. Definitely interested to hear more from the album. While you enjoy Jason Achilles Mezilis’ music video for “Panhandle” be sure to check out their site or a digital downloader to support the group and their release of Comedown. Here’s “Panhandle” from their YouTube channel – Richard:
Sun of Sound Make it “Home”
Sun of Sound are sharing with the ComicPop listeners their new single “Home”. This single is a fun infusion of Rock and Hip Hop. Sun of Sound really has a nice mixture here of the two styles. The single has definitely got my interest up on hearing what will be on the full album. “Home” is from the groups upcoming album Good Days to be released later this Summer. “Run Along” with Typhoid Rosie
“Till We Meet Again” Typhoid Rosie
Typhoid Rosie is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Till We Meet Again”, from their album, Hearts Bleed Goodbye which is available to download. This is just a solid rock piece that has a solid beat and strong vocals. This single is a tribute to Rosie’s mother, but even though it is a somber subject I believe you will be able to get into and enjoy “Till We Meet Again”. Forever everyone out there that has lost loved ones it will especially resonate with you. So here is Typhoid Rosie’s “Till We Meet Again” through SoundCloud – Richard:
The Manimals want to “Talk” with You
The single “Talk’ from The Manimals starts out slow and makes you think you are going to get a ballad, but then the band kicks it in high gear and shifts to an almost Punk Rock beat. During the middle of the song the rhythm slows again for dramatic effect and then kicks it again. The music video that The Manimals’ are sharing with ComicPop listeners is what I would call an off the grid dance/party themed video. Here is “Talk”, from their album Seven inspired from their love of Game of Thrones, through Haley Bowery’s YouTube channel for you to check out – Richard:
Bencoolen Releases “In Color” Single
Bencoolen is sharing with the ComicPop listeners the title track off their upcoming album In Color. “In Color” is a mix of several different styles that meshes well. The opening is unexpected and you think big band, but then it goes into a catchy rhythm. Just by listening, in this single they has a Spanish influence. The catchy rhythm really makes your head bob to the music and is fun to listen to, check out ‘In Color” through SoundCloud and give Bencoolen some support on May 12, when their album drops – Richard:
Fly Never Dies Gives Us “Love and The Stars” Single
Fly Never Dies is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Love and The Stars.” The single features Casey Shea and is from their just released EP by the same name The Love and The Stars. This single has a electro/pop feel and then shifts into hip hop for it’s chorus. Towards the end the intertwine the two styles which brings out a cool effect. “Love and the Stars” has a feel good quality to it that you will enjoy. And how many songs feature a wood block as an instrument, unless that is an electronic sound effect sometimes it’s hard to tell, but still a wood block was an interesting choice. Check out Fly Never Dies single “Love and The Stars” through SoundCloud and then look up their EP to download – Richard:
The Slovaks Gives Us “Meditate”
The Slovaks is sharing with our listeners their single “Meditate”. Don’t let the title fool you though. This is a hard rocking song that will get your blood pumping. For those of you that need that jump start to your day this song will help you out. The music video is pretty straight forward with the band performing the song. Give “Meditate”, from The Slovaks, a spin through “Jeffrey Drag’s” YouTube channel – Richard:
