Wild Fur is sharing with our listeners their latest single “Can You See Me”, from their upcoming album Feel Free.  Wild Fur is the duo of Wylie Hunter and Nick Jaeger and with this single they take use the music stylings of the late 1960’s to Early 1970’s.  The single has that electronic sound that is in the flower power and psychedelic arena, but it isn’t heavy handed.  The single still has that slight pop feel to it that will attract listeners to its sound.  Wild Fur’s album, Fell Free, is scheduled for a November 4 release, but until then here is “Can You See Me” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Scott Sorry’s Single “Broken Hearts and 45’s”

city bird publicityscott-sorry

Scott Sorry is hitting our listeners between the eyes with his rockin’ single “Broken Hearts and 45’s”.  You can hear the mixture of hard rock and punk right from the start of this single.  Scott’s voice doesn’t take a back set to the vocals though.  He’s right out there in front giving it additional fullness with his vocals.  You can find more of Scott Sorry’s music with his latest album When We Were Kings, but for a bit of a taste from the album Scott Sorry wants you to rock out with his single “Broken Hearts and 45’s” through SoundCloud – Richard:

REN delivers a nice smooth pop single with “Into the Unknown”.  The single isn’t over bearing and has a catchy rhythm to it that just flows over the listener.  The music video is fun to watch as well with all the color that pops out at the viewer.  Very nice all the way around.  So be sure to check out REN’s music video for “Into the Unknown” through her YouTube channel – Richard:

Jackie Paladino Loves “Daddy’s Money”

city bird publicityjakcie

Jackie Paladino is sharing with our listeners here latest music video for her single, “Daddy’s Money”.  The single has a nice 1950’s styling to it and then about 1:30 in it gets a pop infusion that carries through until the end of the single and it goes back to the 1950’s feel.  With Jackie’s smoky voice it fits this type of sound really nicely.  The infusion of pop into the single was refreshing as well and I can hear a remix coming where she uses the pop beat all the way through the single, which I think would be sweet.  The music video is taking ques from the past as well with her and the rest of the crew in period dress with the old style microphones, makes it look nice and classy.  Here’s Jackie Paladino’s music video for “Daddy’s Money” for you to enjoy through her YouTube channel – Richard:

“Come On, Let’s Dance!” with The Hellflowers

city bird publicityhellflowers

The Hellflowers are sharing with us their fun single “Come On, Let’s Dance!”  The single has a fun driving rock beat with a splash of punk for good measure.  It reminds me of something that you might hear Pat Benatar sing.  The music video that The Hellflowers are sharing has two distinct feels to it.  You have the band singing that has that rough edge to it and then it splits to a bright scene where a couple is dancing…and I love the Ramones Tee.  “Come On, Let’s Dance!” is the title track from the bands same titled EP that was released earlier this year.  So go to your digital vendors and look up The Hellflowers Come On, Let’s Dance! EP and while you are doing that enjoy their music video to “Come On, Let’s Dance!” through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Le Boom Wants You to Know “What We Do”

city bird publicityle boom

Le Boom is hitting ComicPop up with his music video for “What We Do”.  The single has an energetic rhythm to it that will appeal to most of us.  The vocal range sounds like Le Boom is singing in a falsetto which some might be wary of, but with the instrumentals blending with his voice “What We Do” works well.  Le Boom works in the DJing business and you can definitely feel that influence with the rhythm of the single and the way the music video was constructed. I can see this single being played within a club for everyone to dance to like the dancer in the music video.  Check out Le Boom’s music video for “What We Do” through Rooftop Records NYC YouTube channel – Richard:

Hagar Levy is “Hectic” with Latest Single

city bird publicityhagar levy

Hagar Levy is sharing with us her single “Hectic” from her forthcoming album.  “Hectic” begins right off with a strong base beat and sets the tone for the single with a solid R&B sound.  That same base beat gives the single a sense of urgency that builds to the release in the chorus.  Hagar has a nice clear voice that comes through nicely.  The only time it gets a little overtaken by the instrumentals is during the chorus, but with this song I believe that might be intentional because she wants that Hectic sound with the instruments during the chorus to be the spotlight.  Very nice, I’m interested in hearing more from her.  Until her album release Hagar Levy wants us to enjoy “Hectic” through SoundCloud – Richard:
