Konami will be releasing Yu-Gi-Oh: Hidden Arsenal 5, Steelswarm Invasion on December 6. This booster set will have 60 cards and they will all be foil cards. These were previously available at Duel Terminals, so let your gamers know to keep their eyes open at their local hobby shops.

A Soldier for Benefit
After the the Great East Japan Earthquake, the youth group of the local chamber of commerce and industry created a superhero, Onagawa Rias Soldier Eager. The superhero was created to help boost morale in the local population and for rebuilding. Since it’s creation Onagawa Rias Soldier Eager has now become the character of a 164 page manga by 60 manga professionals to help raise money for the devastated region in the Miyagi Prefecture of Japan. The manga is entitled Shinsai ni Makeruna Higashi-Nihon Project. For more information follow the link below.

Tokyo’s Namco Namja Town is having fun again. This time it’s with the release of the K-ON! film. To celebrate K-ON!’s release they will have desserts and entrees from November 18-January 27 with a K-ON! theme. Pictured above is the variety of food that will be available. Guy Fawkes Mask Used in Protests
Here is an interesting little story. Guy Fawkes masks, made popular by the graphic novel and movie V for Vendetta, are being used by “Occupy” protesters. The individuals wearing them have claimed they wear it to provide anonymity. Some won’t get the connection, but some will, that this character did protest what the story’s government was being depicted as and eventually the individual turned to violence in his protest. Even though this is basically part of freedom of expression I don’t really want to see violence used or this entertainment property being misrepresented by the protesters.
