city bird publicityren

REN delivers a nice smooth pop single with “Into the Unknown”.  The single isn’t over bearing and has a catchy rhythm to it that just flows over the listener.  The music video is fun to watch as well with all the color that pops out at the viewer.  Very nice all the way around.  So be sure to check out REN’s music video for “Into the Unknown” through her YouTube channel – Richard:

Our friend Russell Emanuel has had a Kickstarter campaign to help fund his latest film The Assassin’s Apprentice that star Robert Picardo (Star Trek fame), Marina Sirtis (Star Trek fame), and Tarah Paige.  Their goal was reached and they are now in a stretch goal campaign for additional funding that will assist in them being able to make the best film they can.  Check out their campaign video and if you would like to be a part of making a film possible head on over to their Kickstarter page here ( https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/innomagic/the-assassins-apprentice-0 ):

Shikobi Wants to Feel “Alive” with New Single

shikobi

Shikobi is delivering a hard rock feel to our listeners, with a touch of grunge mixed in with their single “Alive”.  The single has a driving beat that puts the music right in the listeners face.  Shikobi is here and they want to let everyone know.  The instrumentals are on point, with the vocals having that trademark raspy sound to them that most will quickly identify with in the hard rock/grunge scene.  The group has debuted their EP, Pull The Trigger, and you can pick it up from your digital vendors.  Here’s Shikobi’s single “Alive” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Power Rangers Teaser Trailer

power-rangers-1

Everyone knows there is a Power Rangers movie coming out in 2017.  Lionsgate has begun streaming on their YouTube channel the teaser trailer for it.  What I can say, for myself, is that I kind of like that the teens aren’t going to be goody goody.  Looks to be a darker version which I like as well.  Anyway check out the teaser trailer here:

Gold Complex Delivers Music Video for “Backbone”

Project Light Agency Logogold-complex

Gold Complex gives our listeners a chance to sample their sound with their music video “Backbone”, from their self-titled EP.  With “Backbone” the group is playing a fun light rhythm that is supplied by the trumpet and sax giving the single an R&B/Soul feel.  It’s really nice to see live instruments actually supplying the sound rather than electronic versions.  You even get to see these players in the music video that Gold Complex did for “Backbone”.  The video is split between a road trip and studio video.  During the studio segments they spotlight the trumpet and sax player.  If you are digging them be sure to support the group by downloading their self-titled EP – Gold Complex – from your digital content provider.  Until then take a moment and enjoy Gold Complex’ music video for their single “Backbone” through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Star Wars The Old Republic – Knights of the Eternal Throne Cinematic Trailer

star-wars-old-republic

Gamers and Star Wars fans get ready to add Star Wars The Old Republic – Knights of the Eternal Throne to your collections on December 2 of this year.  I wish they would do some animated movies in this style along with the animation they already have.  This animated style has more dramatic effect that would be great in movies.  Anyway, here’s the trailer from IGN’s YouTube channel:

Tulpa Releases “GNATS” Single Featuring BLANKTS

blackpandaPRtulpa

Producer Tulpa is sharing with our listeners his single “GNATS” which features vocals by BLANKTS.  “GNATS” is steeped in the electronica music and is right at the doorstep of experimental music.  Sounds are played with, but not to the extent that they are jarring.  The vocals that BLANKTS provides helps listeners smooth out the tone of the single as well.  This is one that if you enjoy this genre of music you’ll get into right away, if you don’t normally listen to alternative or experimental music give check out Tulpa’s “GNATS” featuring BLANKTS, through SoundCloud, and you might find a new area of music to explore – Richard:
