Cowboys & Aliens Out This Weekend

This weekend’s newest fare at the movies is a mixture of the Western and Science Fiction.  Welcome to the adaptation of Scott Mitchell Rosenberg’s Cowboys & Aliens graphic novel.  With two big name stars in it (Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford) this movie might have some legs.  Thanks to YahooMovies for the trailer below.

Burton & Depp Together Again

AMV of the Week

This week’s AMV is from YouTuber lenray1.  You can find it under the tag “D.N. Angel – Everyday Superhero – Smash Mouth”.  The tag pretty much tells you everything.  Lenray1 uses images from D.N. Angel to the tune “Everyday Superhero” performed by Smash Mouth.  D.N. Angel is one of my favorite anime’s and then add Smash Mouth’s song…..Great job lenray1.

Dark Horse is Casting a Spell

ICv2 reports that CEO Mike Richardson, of Dark Horse Comics, announced that Dark Horse will be adding New York Times bestselling House of Night series to it’s publishing schedule.  P.C. & Kristen Cast, along with Kent Dallan, will co-write the series and Joelle Jones will provide the illustration.  The title will be original stories, rather than adaptations.  House of Night is one title that librarians will want to keep an eye out for the collected editions to add to their young adult graphic novel collections.  The series is set to debut this November.
