Mercedes-Benz Makes Anime Short
Mercedes-Benz is having Production I.G. make a 6 minute anime short, “Next A-Class”, to promote Benz’ new A-Class cars, in the Japanese market. Mizuho Nishikubo, directed the short, with additional talent provided by Kazuchika Kise, the animator, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, who was the character designer and Kenji Kawai, who scored the 6 minute short. DC Deck Building Game
Cryptozoic Entertainment is coming out with a DC Comics Deck-Building Game. The deck will have 214 cards. Release date for the game is for December 2012 and has a suggested retail price of $40.00. So if any of the libraries out there are into card gaming and card gaming tournaments you might want to pick this set up.

Library Wars Live Action Film
Here is one movie I hope they bring over to the North American market. It’s the live action film, Library Wars, which stars Junichi Okada as Atsushi Dojo and Nana Eikura as Iku Kasahara. It is scheduled for an April release date in Japan and hopefully before the end of 2013 we will be able to purchase it.
