Girl In the Bay Trailer

The Girl in the Bay is a four issue mini-series from Dark Horse Comics. At watching the trailer I am definitely intrigued to see what this story is like. Sounds like a cool read and the artwork looks cool as well. I tend to like clean modern artwork, that’s just me. For collector’s that want to pick this up in floppies the first issue is already out and possibly even the second by this posting, you’d have to check with your local comic shop. If you like your comic books collected and look nice on a book shelf, which is much nicer for public library collections, the scheduled release date of the collected version is currently set for September. Thanks to Dark Horse’ YouTube channel for the trailer to The Girl in the Bay:

Jackie Venson’s New Single “Witchcraft”

“Witchcraft” is another strong outing for Jackie Venson. It has a great rock beat with a little bit of techno thrown in, but it’s really about that rock beat. Jackie’s voice fits this style of music and I can feel her having fun with her music. She is just one of those artist that I can connect and get into her music with minimal effort because I enjoy it so much. If you are looking for a new rock musician be sure to look up Jackie Venson’s catalog and download her to you digital devices. Jackie is sharing with our listeners her single “Witchcraft” through SoundCloud, and be sure to keep checking your digital vendors of choice for her next album Joy which is scheduled to drop April 5 – Richard:

Captain Marvel Trailer

Just saw this yesterday with Logan and Michelle. Great fun! I hope everyone will check it out and have a good time like we did. Thanks to Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel for this trailer:

Cameron Hawthorn’s Music Video for “Dancing in the Living Room

Cameron Hawthorn is invoking a nice steady slow dancing country song vibe with his single “Dancing in the Living Room. The single is just him with minimal instrumentation singing a slow melody for young and old lovers out there to get close to each other. This could be either at a dance hall or as the title of the song implies “In the Living Room”.

The music video is one that harkens back to a simpler time in the story of country and western music. It gives me a 1950 – 1960 feel in the way it was filmed. This one will be a winner for the style of music fans. Here’s Cameron Hawthorn’s “Dancing in the Living Room” that he wants everyone to enjoy from his YouTube channel – Richard:

Justice League vs. The Fatal Five

DC has another animated movie for us to look forward to. We get a bit of the Legion in this movie and as always the animation that Warner Bros. is doing for this movie is a treat to look at. Looking forward to this as I have for all of the DC animated features. Here’s the trailer, for Justice League vs. The Fatal Five, through DC’s YouTube Channel:

A Brilliant Lie’s newest release “The Tarot”

A Brilliant Lie is coming at your fast and loud with their latest “The Tarot”. I love getting some Rock! For some reason it seems we don’t hear that much Rock currently. A Brilliant Lie gives us this with an aggressive sound and the rough sounding vocals that I am enjoying. For Rock fans that have been looking for someone new to check out, A Brilliant Lie might be the band for you. “The Tarot” is from their upcoming Threads: Weaver due out on March 29. Until then A Brilliant Lie wants ComicPop’s listeners to have an early taste of what’s to come with “The Tarot” through SoundCloud – Richard:
