Ahmen and Janani “Choose Love”

Ahmen is letting our listeners enjoy his latest single’s music video “We Choose Love” from his upcoming album If Not Now, Then When. “We Choose Love” has a 1980’s feel to the single and the music video has a 1970’s television intro feel to it. Both styles remind me of when I was getting down with the music of my day. Janai Saara joins Ahmen as the feature artist and both have a nice sound between them. Laura Roy’s “Don’t Chase” Acoustical Music Video

Laura Roy is sharing with our listeners her upbeat R&B feeling single “Don’t Chase”. This single is from her self-titled EP which came out July 3rd. The music video is an acoustical version and is song in an empty house, which gives it an interesting sound quality. This setting doesn’t spotlight Laura’s voice very well, but you can still tell she has a very nice voice. The Jake Davis Band is “Saying It Right”!

The Jake Davis Band is sharing their debut single, “Saying It Right”, from their EP The Valley. “Saying It Right” is a fine entry in the pop/electro pop field. It has a clean strong beat that pulls the listener in and Jake’s voice is clear and comes through nicely. Other members of the band are Jordan Meltzer, on guitar, James Harmon, on Bass, and Eddy Barco, on drums. If this is any indication of what the EP will be like it will be a welcome addition to your music collection. Now after saying all of that I would really love to hear Jake do an acoustical version of this song, I think it would add another dimension to the single.
