“Come On, Let’s Dance!” with The Hellflowers

city bird publicityhellflowers

The Hellflowers are sharing with us their fun single “Come On, Let’s Dance!”  The single has a fun driving rock beat with a splash of punk for good measure.  It reminds me of something that you might hear Pat Benatar sing.  The music video that The Hellflowers are sharing has two distinct feels to it.  You have the band singing that has that rough edge to it and then it splits to a bright scene where a couple is dancing…and I love the Ramones Tee.  “Come On, Let’s Dance!” is the title track from the bands same titled EP that was released earlier this year.  So go to your digital vendors and look up The Hellflowers Come On, Let’s Dance! EP and while you are doing that enjoy their music video to “Come On, Let’s Dance!” through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Sivan’s Thoughtful “I’ll Be” Single

effective immediately prsivan

Sivan reminds us all that the Earth is here for us in her powerful single and music video, “I’ll Be” that she is sharing with us.  However, we need to be here for the Earth as well and think about what we are doing for the future.  The single uses a simple catchy melody that conveys Sivan’s message well.  Sivan has a high range that she effectively uses in “I’ll Be”, but doesn’t overdue it.  Enjoy Sivan’s “I’ll Be” music video through her YouTube channel – Richard:

Assassin’s Creed Trailer

Assassins

Titan Comics is producing a new Assassin’s Creed comic series.  The series is currently being written by Fred van Lente and illustrated by Dennis Calero.  Titan usually makes their titles available in hardback or trade form in you want something that will look nice on a book shelve.  If you are into the floppies, which I still enjoy, then be sure to look at your local comic shop for current and back issues of the series.  Thanks to Titan Comics’ YouTube channel for the following trailer:

Troy’s latest Rock Single “Cover Me”

blackpandaPRtroy ramey

We featured Troy’s “Song Man” back in May.  Now Troy is sharing with us his latest single “Cover Me”.  Once again Troy smashes it with this great rock influenced single.  “Cover Me” doesn’t hit you in the face like you would expect if I told you this was a rock single.  This single has some soul mixed in with a nicely blended story based rock single that gets introspective.  Enjoy Troy’s “Cover Me” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Big Gigantic’s Latest Single “All of Me”

blackpandaPRBig Gigantic

Big Gigantic is sharing with the ComicPop listeners “All of Me”, the title track for their recently released EP All of Me.  This single features Rozes, whom we have spotlighted before, and Logic.  We have that electronica feel from the very start that plays throughout the single.  Logic’s rapping is spot on and Rozes chorus flows through the music.  If you listen closely to the back ground sounds there are some sounds that Big Gigantic puts in that is very reminiscent of old school video game sounds, especially at the end it really comes through.  Very nice collaboration with everything mixing well.  Check out Big Gigantic’s “All of Me” featuring Logic and Rozes through SoundCloud – Richard:
