Toonami Coming Back to Adult Swim
Cartoon Network is bringing back Toonami to it’s Adult Swim block on May 27 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight). Most of the shows will be what you would think: Bleach; Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig; and Cowboy Bebop. However two shows will be airing that are new to the block: Deadman Wonderland (12:30 a.m.) and Casshern Sins (1:00 a.m.) It’s good to see Toonami coming back and hopefully they will expand on their variety of shows in the future.
AMV of the Week
This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber TehAznJulieh. Here the song “Fallin’ For You” performed by Colbie Caillat and has been edited around scenes from the anime Toradora. This AMV has a distracting feature of the artist and name of the song and YouTuber name constantly popping on the screen. It would be nice to view the video without this distraction. However, If you can get past the pop-ups, the editing of scenes is done very nicely and the song fits the AMV very well. Colbie Caillat has a nice voice and the song has a great beat and hook to it. New FUNimation Title

CW’s Arrow
The CW has announced that it will be airing Arrow, based on DC Comic’s Green Arrow, on Wednesday’s at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and 7:00 p.m. Central for the new Fall season. The show will then be followed by Supernatural, which has been a staple for the CW for several years now. The following video has been made available from ICv2 and The CW:

Green Lantern Gets Animated
Warner Home Video has scheduled the release of Green Lantern: The Animated Series-Rise of the Red Lanters, Season 1, Volume 1, for August 28th. Let your purchasing agents know so they can have a copy for your library on order for your animation collections.
Dragon’s Dogma Game Trailer
If any of your gamers are into the fantasy genre you might remind them about this upcoming release. CAPCOM will be releasing Dragon’s Dogma for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22 for the North American market, May 24 in Japan and May 25 in Europe and Australia. RPG Map in Comic Book
In Dynamite Entertainment’s first issue of Pathfinder there will be an RPG map for gamers that are playing the Pathfinder Role Playing Game. Your library might not be interested in purchasing this one issue, unless it has a gaming club. However, you will want to tell your gamers that are into RPG’s they might want to pick this up for the map insert.
