WoW fans and fantasy fans can look forward to the upcoming Warcraft feature. Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures are getting this prepped for a June 10 release date and they have given fans an image of the poster, which is above, and a teaser trailer that CBR Trailers YouTube channel has available:
New World of Warcraft Titles
Blizzard Entertainment and Dark Horse Comics has announced that it will begin a series of books that will delve into the history and mythology of World of Warcraft. However, you are going to have to wait a while for them. The schedule release date for the first volume is November 4, with a retail price of $39.99. I guess you can look at it as you have time to put back the money for it.
WoW Promo Card
Librarians will want to let their trading card gamers (especially W0W gamers) know about the upcoming World of Warcraft promo card. Cryptozoic will be releasing the promo card “The Well of Eternity”, at participating retailers, on October 2. This promotion is to support the upcoming Timewalkers: War of the Ancients launch. Let your TCG gamers know so they can contact their retailers to see if the can pick up this card.
Expansion to “Aftermath”
Here is some news for all your patrons that are into trading card games. Cryptozoic Entertainment will be releasing The World of WarCraft: Aftermath expansion set Tomb of the Forgotten on June 12th. The expansion set will be available in packs of 15 cards with 70 Common, 60 Uncommon, 8 Hero, 60 Rare, and 10 Epic cards to complete the set. The suggested MSRP will be $3.99 per pack.

WoW more Trading Card Gaming
Crytozoic Entertainment is planning on releasing two new World of Warcraft Champion Decks, this Spring. The decks will be 60 cards each with a suggest retail price of $11.99. If you have an WoW players in your library you might relay this information if they don’t already know about them. If nothing else it will give you some talking points with your gamers.
New Art Book
Paizo Publishing is releasing Visions of War: The Art of Wayne Reynolds, May 15, 2012. Most of your library’s patrons will recognize him from artwork he has done for Dungeons & Dragons, World of Warcraft and Magic: The Gathering. This would be a great art book, to pre-order for your collection, that will interest your fantasy readers, art enthusiasts and the gamers. The suggested price is $29.99 (ISBN 978-1601254252).
WoW Starter Decks Delayed
If you hear your gamers talking about WoW Starter Decks not being out, this is what they are talking about and you can relay the information to them. The World of Warcraft TCG Fall 2011 Class Starter Deck were supposed to by out in October. Cryptozoic had to delay the release, for unspecified reasons and the release date has been pushed back to December 6. Your gamers might already now this, but if not this will allow you to join in the conversation.
WoW Expansion
Cryptozoic is releasing another expansion set for World of Warcraft. This expansion set is called Aftermath: Crown of Heavens and it is the second Aftermath expansion set. Alert your gamers to start looking for these in their local stores.
