Logan Trailer

Hugh Jackman has said that Logan will more than likely be his last turn at playing Wolverine.  From the looks of the trailer they are taking elements of the Old Man Logan storyline for this movie.  Logan is slated for a March release.  Thanks to Movieclips Trailers YouTube channel for the trailer:

Jeanine Debuts “Runnin'”

city bird publicityjeanine

This is a promising start for Jeanine.  “Runnin'” reminded me of something Diana Ross might sing, just in a higher register.  I have to say I love the Wolverine pic above.  Anyway back to the single.  Jeanine even with a higher voice, she is very clear with her lyrics, which is difficult for a higher register singer.  I also loved the up beat of “Runnin” .  The beat does get a little repetitive, but I believe that was what Jeanine was going for.  By the time the single is finished the listener is wore out, just like you would be if you were running.  Definitely interested in her future releases.  Take a listen through SoundCloud – Richard:

The Wolverine Trailer

The next Marvel film, The Wolverine, is this weeks new blockbuster.  I might not be there opening night, but I’ll get to see it eventually.  Thanks to “TheWolverineMovie” channel onYouTube for the following trailer:

New Style of HeroClix

WizKids has introduced a new dynamic to their HeroClix brand.  Starting with the Batman: Gotham City Strategy Game will have interchangeable dials.  Two sets will come with the game and the players get to choose which dial they want to play the game with.  Then in Spring of 2013, Teen Titans HeroClix will be released with the SwitchClix dials and then in the Summer of 2013 the Wolverine and the X-Men will be released with the same game features.  This will probably be the standard from this point on, if I was guessing.  Thanks to ICv2 for the information.

Marvel Goes Pink in October

Marvel Entertainment is helping the Susan G. Komen for the Cure during this coming October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Marvel will have a select number of titles that will have pink covers with the characters in pink highlighted costumes.  This is a great way to help a worthy cause.  I’m pretty sure, including myself, that everyone has a loved one or friend that has had to fight breast cancer.  The issues involved with the promotional will be: Avengers #31; Captain America #18; Captain Marvel #5; Fantastic Four #661; Invincible Ironman #526; Mighty Thor #21; Uncanny X-Men #20; and Wolverine #315.  This is just a current listing and more titles could be added to the promotional.   Each issue will have one page in the comic to educate readers about breast cancer.
